We had dinner here and it was great. We were therefor a function so we had a limited menu. The menu options were simple but the flavors were far from simple. Absolutely delicious. I absolutely would return!

We had dinner here and ordered the turtle soup, nothing special but I can’t compare it with any other turtle soup because I’ve never had one before. The seafood gumbo tasted more like okra soup than seafood. The almandine fish was food so was the...More

Went on weekday at 11am. I am a woman and went alone, a sure test of a restaurants worst service. I got very little attention, waiters did not listen and made mistakes with my order, clearly spending more/ quality time with couples and larger parties....More

It has been a while since I dined at this fine restaurant. All I can say is that they have the best food. Seafood gumbo was delicious while blacked redfish was the best fish I have ever had. If you are going to dine here,...More

Came in for brunch this AM. The dining room is lovely and the service is very good. My egg dish was well prepared, but not spectacular. However....the Bread Pudding was insanely good. I’d go back again for Champagne and Bread Pudding for lunch if I...More

I would recommend lunch or brunch. They are know for their Eggs Benedict with several variations, the turtle soup, and the Bananas Foster.

The original Brennan's, opened in 1946, recently emerged from an extensive renovation that spared no effort or expense by new co-owners Terry White and Ralph Brennan. Eight glamorous dining rooms, each steeped in New Orleans architecture and ambiance, celebrate the opulence of dining in a city where breakfast revelry is taken as seriously as a decadent dinner. Acclaimed Chef Slade Rushing's menus are rooted in Creole traditions and are bolstered with contemporary New Orleans influences. Marrying classic and modern techniques yields a decidedly innovative approach and enhances our local, seasonal offerings. Brennan's old-world elegance, fanciful decor and pampering service create a unique and sophisticated backdrop for a most memorable meal. Welcome!
