The FOOD! Creole tomatoes! Shrimp bisque! Veal yum! Smoked, fried soft-shell crabs! Superior wine list. There is MUCH more to New Orleans than the Quarter.

My parents were regulars at Clancy's for decades but I lived out of state, so never went until recently. On my 2nd visit, the pompano with crabmeat & Boston salad was delicious but the VIOLENT gastrointestinal expulsions that started around 2am & lasted until 10am...More

Everything was fantastic - from the food to the service! We had the fried oysters with brie, sautéed veal with crab and bernaise. They even made a small portion of fettuccine Alfredo for my son! Highly recommend.

Tucked into a beautiful neighborhood, you actually happen upon this restaurant surrounded by well kept homes. Definitely filled with regulars, we went on a Monday at 8.30 and it was packed. The waiters wear tuxedos and most of the men wear jackets; like I said,...More
