An amazing birthday dinner! I didn't think to make a reservation on a Weds evening but the staff managed to squeeze me in. The waitress helped me choose a wine to go with swordfish. And the meal itself was spectacular.

Award-winning chef creations on the menu change seasonally. I've visited several times and there's always something clever and unexpected on the menu. Be sure to book well in advance as last minute reservations are impossible. Hint: if you're going to run into a celebrity in...More

Cleo and I went for our anniversary lunch. Wonderful champagne by the glass, gnocchi with guanciale and Parmesan, gazpacho with lump crab, mahi mahi with couscous and duck leg confit with dirty rice (fantastic!) all excellent, as was the service and the atmosphere.

Nice place. The menu is really unique. I am gluten free and had some options to choose from. My husband had shrimp in peanut stew and didn’t care for it much... there also wasn’t much to it. Maybe 8 shrimp in total, not much substance....More

Great food, cocktails and wine. A bit upscale so more expensive, but good for a nice night out. Menu changes in frequently, but everything is excellent.

We recently dined at Herbsaint while visiting our daughter who attends Tulane. We had a wonderful meal together sharing small plates. All of the small plates we tried were very good. We were a little disappointed in the serving size of the beef short rib...More

I was with my 85 year old mother. While waiting for a streetcar back to our VRBO, I called Herbsaint. As instructed, I left a detailed message. Never got a call back. When we got to the restaurant, the hostess was rude and condescending. They...More

We were in “NOLA” for a work conference and thought we were so lucky to be in a hotel right on bourbon street; (I’m getting to the review) boy we’re we wrong. One disappointment after another after hearing so much about the food. Well, luckily...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Yes they do offer gluten free options. They were talking to the table near me about them last time I was there
