Very good restaurant with classic service and many New Orleans favorites plus fantastic steaks. Winer service was also very good. No room for desert.

After almost one week in New Orleans, I can only say that all restaurants were very good. Also the last one: this meat restaurant, again in a wonderful place, is excellent. As is their service and kindness of the personnel.

My wife and I had an early dinner here on New Year's Eve. The food and the service were impeccable. Not inexpensive, but I suppose you get what you pay for. This is a typical high-end steakhouse, with pretty much the same sort of menu you see at all similar steakhouses. You can expect to pay in the neighborhood of... More

our party of four had an amazing dinner at Dickie Brennan's. The menu was full of excellent options and all the dishes were excellent from the sides, salads, bread and steaks! I have learned over time to ask opinions on selections from the wait staff and this night was a perfect example. I love beef and normally select a bone... More

Loved eating here - had the most amazing Ceasar Salad, Filet cooked to perfection and Au Gratin Potatoes to die for. Our daughter got the grilled vegetable platter - which was huge and she loved their Sweet Potato. Pecan Pie was great (wish it would have been heated up just a bit - it was served cold). Staff was AMAZING.... More

Arrived and was seated early via Open Table reservation. Promptly greeted by the Servers. They provide the right amount of attention without being intrusive. We were in a quiet room just off the main dining hall. We both ordered filets and they were cooked to perfection. I must say the creamed corn was fantastic as was the baked potato. The... More

Probably the nicest restaurant right off Bourbon Street. Everyone in my group had the petite steak and we ordered three sides. Steak was great and the sides were well worth it. Try the Cajun fried rice. The restaurant is very elegant in a manly sense. Traditional steak house look.

This is a very special and wonderful steakhouse. I love the atmosphere. My husband and I ordered Filets Oscar. OMG!. The steaks were wonderful and so was the sauce and crab. The asparagus were huge. We went with another couple and all had a great time. I would go back anytimge.

Everyone knows that Dickie Brennan's is one of the top steakhouses in America, but it's more than just the food that makes it what it is. I've eaten there many times over the years and had excellent service, but what we received two nights after Christmas was unbelievable. That's one of the busiest nights of the years, and I forgot... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
