Super first night in NO with fabulous dinner! Went with the duck for entree and recommend the crab soup to start. Both deserts are outstanding and the wine list is the most extensive! Top notch service and warm southern hospitality!

Reserved a table for two through pur hotel concierge. Were seated at a very nice table for two upstairs. Service was impeccable at all times. Food was spectacular and in appropriate quantities. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service and very personable musicians going from table to table. Our table was in a nice air conditioned room overlooking the garden/patio. It was unseasonably HOT (90's) and it was great to be cool, but have natural light. I suggest calling to be sure...More

The service is terrific...the food excellent. Highly recommended for a special occasion when in New Orleans. And, if you can, take a little ride around the garden district!

Went as a family of four and had a delicious lunch. I had the soup 1-1-1 which is a combination of their signature turtle soup, gumbo and soup of the day and it was delicious. Our family each had different food and having tasted all...More

My wife and I returned for dinner 25 years after our first visit. We weren't sure from the TripAdvisor reviews whether the restaurant was too aged and past its prime. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the owners have reinvested in the physical premises,...More

We only had dinner this trip but I'm sure whichever you choose, the service and the food will be impeccable. Something to consider though is what else you will be doing on the day. We chose dinner as there is a dress code... More

Commander's Palace welcomes everyone but we do have a dress code. It's a festive atmosphere! Shorts are never allowed. Inventive modern New Orleans cooking coexists with our Haute Creole. Sense the team's professional grace clothed in the warmth of the Brennan Family's brand of hospitality. From your first sip of a Sazerac to your last crumb of bread pudding soufflé, we hope you are pampered and delighted...and go ahead be a little bad...that's what living in New Orleans is all about.
