Only get bottled beer here. Price was cheap. Bartender was on a magical mystery tour. We won't go back there.

Not only is this a real dive bar feel but it's homey as well. Locals come and go and the conversations are entertaining. Hands down the best crawdad experience, load up to your hearts content and suck those little bastards off.

We learned of this place while doing our walking cemetery tour. Our tour got rained out by torrential rains. Once it let up enough that we could walk without seeming like we swam in the river, we made our way to this place! We had...More

Three Legged Dog Tavern was the husband's favorite bar in New Orleans! The folks working there are so friendly and welcoming, you'll feel right at home in no time. The drinks are cheap and poured quite generously. And the food is great, served in huge...More

What can you say? Never closes, always 2-for-1 beers and crawfish running regularly. Mainly at 6pm, but the midnight boil on Saturday is perfect timing.

This is a real bar--dark, wood furnishings everywhere, and a few posters. We went for the crawfish boil. We didn't know how to eat them, but the bartender and patrons patiently schooled us. It was delicious, and we made some new friends. The bar is...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
I'm going to be in town over this weekend and trying to scope out some places to go ahead of time. My question is, what's the best meal at the three legged dog for someone who is allergic to shellfish and seafood in general? Also is there a house specialty drink we should try? Thanks!

We do smoke our own ribs, pulled pork and brisquit, fresh cut fries and hand pattied hamburgers, just to name a few.

We are planning my husband's 40th in NOLA, April 2018 during French Quarter festival. Would crawfish be in season? We would like to do a large group dinner here for friends and family.
