Great little place for a casual dinner. We went with friends and enjoyed everything from the mini egg rolls to the Pancit (both with chicken and pork or shrimp). Very tasty food, outstanding service, although we did have to wait a short while on arrival - it was busy for a Tuesday night! Quite a lot of the food is... More

This restaurant just opened at 125 N. Carrolton Ave right across from Angelo Brocato's and Venezia. I'd never had Philippino food, but I was incredibly impressed with the flavors, textures and presentation. I noticed that one of the reviewers here thought it was very westernized, and I'm very puzzled by that..since most of the ingredients we completely new to me... More

Milkfish has moved to a new location on N. Carrolton, just off Canal Street. We went there very excited as we like Southeast Asian cuisine. However, the food disappointed us. Nothing to write home about. It is too westernized and the portion sizes are small compared to the prices. Just two lumpias (egg rolls) for $7!!!! Are you kidding me???... More

The food portions were incredibly small and the quality of the meal left much to be desired. The lumpiang shanghai was overcooked.... We only received a cup of rice.... The tocino dish only came with two mini longanisa’s and one small slice of tocino pork (split and cut in half). The server was friendly but her knowledge of the dishes... More

I came here with my friends for Sunday lunch. I have lived in asia and traveled throughout Southeast Asia, however, I never had the Chance to visit the Phillipeans. A former Spanish Colony, the Phillpieans is a country of many different cultures and the array Of cultural influences is Certainly apparent in its tasty cuisine. If you live in New... More

We stumbled on this place after a long day at Jazzfest - I was thinking we were going to go to Who Dat cafe just for some cafe food (a sandwich or something simple). I didn't realize that this is an entirely different restaurant that uses space in the Who Dat cafe. I cannot speak to the other dishes on... More

This place was great overall. Appetizer sampler was full of treasures! Entrees were amazing. The service was my fave since it was family run. Our waitress told us about eating each dish as a child. Definitely try it!
