We popped in for lunch on our 6-mile walk down Magazine street. We find something new every time we take this day-long stroll. Tracey's was absolutely great. Friendly staff, good food, huge portions, fresh-shucked oysters, great prices, a very fun vibe. We will make it a point to visit again in the future!

I arrived after a long flight about 7 pm. They were out of coleslaw, so I just had Sweet potato fries and a Beverage. There were Fresh oysters and other choices on the menu.

Had lunch there today after a Garden District tour. Lots of choices on the menu. My wife really enjoyed her salad. I thought my Reuben was just Ok. Order at the counter and you get a buzzer to let you know when food is ready. Bus your own table. We would return.

Great Irish saloon, restaurant and sports bar, they broadcast everything from NFL and College games, to Soccer leagues and Hunting Shows. New Orleans landmark that should not be missed during Saint Patrick's Day week and definitely the parades with Parasol Bar one block away. The beer is always cold, pool tables and great bartenders!

I came in for something simple off the menu. They took my money, I even put money in the tip bucket & went & sat down to wait. I wait a long time & then saw the 2 guys from kitchen leave, as in for the day! I walk up to window & no one in sight. So I ask... More

We stopped by at 4pm on a Friday. We were pushed into back room by the blonde hostess from. We had the beef PO' boy. It was dry and tasted terrible. It was a pricey bed experience. I don't recommend this dump to anybody. Go to Parkway Bakery.

Poboys, French Fires & beer in quick order. Delicious food will satisfy. The wings & fried mozzarella cheese sticks were great too!

We went here for a "meet and greet" for families and friends who were in town for my cousins wedding. They picked the place because it is large and has picnic table style seating in the middle and booths on the outside with the bar along one of the side walls. Little did we realize there was a $10 cover... More

It looks like a fun locals joint but I went there to watch the sugar bowl and they ran out of beer on tap and they didn't have olives for martinis. The poor boys were mediocre at best. Service wasn't friendly. They appear to cater mostly to the regulars which I respect but in a tourist town they should be... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
