This is a great spot. I had the stuffed dates and the kale salad, and both were delicious! Everything also arrived quickly. The staff were great - everyone was talkative and friendly without being overbearing at all. There was a jazz pianist who was very...More

Very enjoyable experience between dinner and the entertainment. We didn't have a reservation on Thursday evening and were told by Charlina there would be a thirty minute wait. Decided to head down the block for a drink and returned to be seated just a few...More

This is a cozy restaurant that has a live band playing. The menu selection is very good and our table service was efficient. The food was excellent and together with the music, made for a wonderful dining experience.

Small restaurant with live music. Food ia good but tapas style so that always means a big bill and you are still hungry. The first performer was great, second wasnt our thing. Excellent service and good drinks.

It's a cozy restaurant hosting good jazz and serving fine food. We were tucked in a corner right next to the piano so the music was a little loud and location a little cramped. However, the food and music made up for it. We had...More

Had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table to be cleared. Make a reservation, this place is small and seating is limited. Bartender was friendly and service was prompt. Once we sat it took a while for our server to Initially...More

We came back to Three Muses as they have in the past had the best variety of music on Frenchman street. Wheatley drink was very tasty, a nice change from other Bourbon drinks. I tried the special with gin, it wasn't to my tastes. The...More

First time in New Orleans and so lucky to find the Jazz place of my dreams; good food, nice people and really good jazz music. Two nights with two different music groups in a perfect jazz atmosphere. Love it!

As everyone said, the portions are small but amazing, especially the Creole pie. The ambience, music, and food all fit perfectly together. We loved it. Service was much better than stated and 40s music is not for everyone.

The servers have attitude. The food is all from scratch bits a very small place and they pack the band onto a tiny stage. The music is unique and often has a smooth mellow eclectic mix to it.

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to
some of the most revered live music venues in New
Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining

I went with my teenagers. I wouldn't recommend taking children much younger than that, even in the late afternoon.

yes, you can order food at the bar. but the space is limited, unless you get a spot at the other end of the bar (fit for 2 person), that I think is the prime spot.
