Walked in on a weekend around 8:30. Waited about 30 minutes and was sat. Food was incredible. Arancini was excellent, bread was worth the cost. Squid ink pasta was decadent. Lasagna was the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend it. No wonder it was rated #1 Italian restaurant. Wow.

Amazing food! Italian, pizza thin and crispy. Desserts out of this world. Original. Not a tourist trap.

We were in town for the marathon and wanted some pasta before the race. The reviews for this place were good so we tried it for a late lunch. Very friendly service, lots of tables and casual but upscale. There were these cool elegant/modern crystal chandeliers all over. I loved the Campanelle dish. The pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly.... More

We visited New Orleans in February 2017. Our first visit. We were referred to Domenica restaurant by it's sister restaurant, August. We stopped at August Restaurant, but they didn't have spaghetti and meatballs and I told the hostess that is what I ate before every marathon. She sent me to their sister restaurant. Wow, not only was she helpful and... More

Happy Hour is indeed happy. Pizza, panini and beer half price here from 2-6, maybe 5. But what a deal😉. Pizza was thin crusted, many different toppings, beer cold. We didn't try panini but from the crowd that was there all looked satisfied. Seemed to be more locals than tourist. Highly recommended.

Too much starch on this menu, but killer rabbit pappardelle and roasted cauliflower. Solid wine list, a few good stouts and porters too. Slow but solid service, better than the average hotel restaurant. I was looking for a more protein-driven menu, not it, but yum yum (then go do some cardio).

We went for Lunch and ordered Vegetarian Pizza & pasta. The Pizza was good and authentic. The Service was great. Do make reservations as it's always busy.

We went here for a birthday celebration with my family while visiting NO. I picked it based off of the Trip Advisor reviews. While it was a nice restaurant, I did feel it was very overpriced for the very small portion sizes (except the pizza was big). Also, it is quite modern...NOT what we were looking for in the Big... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
