I did not care for many of the selections but the lasagna was delicious. Perhaps it’s a little too authentic but it is delicious Italian food. If you have a very “Americanized” pallet then you may not find a lot of items to your taste....More

Very good and creative Italian food. Pizza, pasta, salads, vegetarian friendly, great service. Probably should not come in at $25 pp for lunch though with one course each and no alcohol. That's the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. But one of the...More

Maybe this isn't the place for a solo meal..many of the small plates are better for sharing. Servers often seem to neglect solo diners..why is that? Bread..only by request..or was that a cover up.for..."I forgot"? Food was very good..but two small plates and a glass...More

We went to Domenica's for my daughter's birthday, and the experience couldn't have been any better. We love all their pizza's and usually get the roasted cauliflower and white truffle risotto. The risotto isn't on the menu, so you need to ask if they have...More

This was the first place that we visited for lunch as soon as we arrive to New Orleans as we stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel... Actually the price is not a problem but it is when the service is not according of what you pay......More

You will look at the menu and see countless items you want to order but how do you choose? This is how: Order the black squid ink pasta and roasted cauliflower and you will be on cloud 9. You're welcome

My shrimp and pasta dish was cooked to perfection. The Pasta was Al dente and the shrimp fresh and not over cooked. You have to try the roasted cauliflower as this is perfect for 4-6 people.

My family and I enjoyed our first visit to Domenica from beginning to end! The roasted cauliflower, the pizza, the bread, salumi, pasta and the small dessert token for my birthday were all simply perfect! Service was very good and I plan to return here...More

We had a good server to start (celina), but that quickly went downhill. My rigatoni was supposed to be served in an arrabiata sauce but it wasn't and the food was lukewarm. Where is our server to send it back? She's no where to be...More

I know this is highly rated, but we thought our dinners were quite ordinary. Not bad, not great. Good but not great. I had the campenelle, a pasta with bolognese and Brussels sprouts. Normally, I like both but the combo did not do anything for...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects his time spent cooking and living in the small towns of northern Italy.
