This restaurant is in The Roosevelt Hotel so it’s a bit posh, but it was two blocks from our hotel and we discovered it because it does awesome, reasonably priced, takeaway pizza. But tonight two weary sightseers dropped in on the way home and decided...More

It was a three hour wait for a table so we decided to grab some pizza to go. Would have loved to check out the restaurant but were very happy with our pizza (The Calabrese). We both thought it was really good!

A potentially good food experience was spoiled by bad, messy and forgetful service. Server needs better training to retain clients at this eatery

Went at the recommendation of our hotel concierge. WONDERFUL hostess was gracious and with unseasonably cool weather seating near front door was cool so they moved us. Our waitress Nora was ok, pleasant. We asked for bread so she brought it-was good-not sure if everyone...More

We were in New Orleans for the week and wanted to eat somewhere with good Italian food. Thankfully we found Domenica and wasn't disappointed! My friend loves Pizza and has eaten it plenty and said that it was his favourite he's ever had which is...More

Domenica in the Roosevelt Hotel—very hit or miss. The night we were there was was a miss night. Very loud restaurant with faux Italian food. In one of the food capitals of America why endure the mundane.

Ended up here for dinner without a reservation but were able to get a table in the bar. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Great pasta, great soup, great short ribs. Everything was just divine. Would go back in a heartbeat.

If you fancy nice uncomplicated Italian food, this is the place to go. The Kale was amazing, arancini divine, the mezze meats and cheeses delicious...and thats before we got to the pizza and pasta...which was fantastic! Staff were buzzing, along with the atmosphere...you’ll like this!

It pains me to write this review. Such a waste of excellent ingredients. So here it goes and I hope someone in management reads it. We ordered an octopus carpaccio and shaved brussel sprout salad to start followed by a pizza and crab linguini. The...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects his time spent cooking and living in the small towns of northern Italy.
