Went to the Brocach with the idea it was an Irish pub. While it did have some Irish dishes it didn't have much of an Irish Pub feel. Our food was good and the beer cold. Servers were friendly and helpful.

The food and beer menu was excellent. Highly recommend the Rueben and of course a pint of Smithwick’s! Outstanding service!
We went here with a large group for dinner. Everybody liked their food. Good drinks. Great service. No complaints. I would go back and recommend to others.
We stopped in one night and found the kitchen closes at 10pm. So we had a few drinks. The staff was friendly and the bar was clean. More modern then most Irish bars.
The selection here for whiskey lovers is almost unparalleled in the Madison area. I would highly recommend trying it follow food next door at The Old Fashioned.
