Everything was excellent. Busy place on Sunday . We only waited 30 minutes for a table for 2. Lots of menus choices. We had burgers and beer.

It's a nice French bistro. Huge and nice people at the bar. Waiters can be hit or miss but the good is solid. Their menu is getting a little old. You can get great foils items at the bar menu that they dint have on the dinner menu. Good wine list. This place is highly recommended.

Group dinner of 8 on a busy Saturday night. The place was far too loud to be able to have a conversation. The waiter was arrogant. When asked what is the best locally produced meat from the midwest on the menu, pork shoulder or ribeye, he said he would consider neither a stable of the midwest. The pork shoulder was... More

Brunch, wonderful - Dinner wonderful - outside seating in summer months, excellent. Sardine never disappoints me or my guests. Great cocktail options, perfect for sipping on the outdoor patio that overlooks the lake. I'm a huge fan of their warm duck confit and frisee salad! They also have an excellent half-priced oyster happy hour daily in the bar area. Don't... More

I enjoyed dinner on my own in the lovely restaurant. Traveling for genealogy sometimes I end up with my own company for dinner. The oysters were delicious, from Washington state. I had the chicken liver toast to follow. I ate early, 6 pm, by the time I left it was full. Good attentive service, nice setting on the lake.

Wanted to totally love Sardine. Instead a big like! We did not realize the bar was open because online said open at 5:00. This is for dinner. The bar has 4:00 - 6:00 specials. The appetizers were great and have an extensive wine list. Checked in for our reservation but needed to remind hostess we were at the bar waiting.... More

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, wines by the glass are nicely curated. Food was okay, but not great. Steak was thin, salty and gristly -- maybe half of it was edible. The frisée salad was overwhelmed by chunks of rather bland duck, which seemed unnecessary. (Perhaps the duck should be optional for those who want an entree salad.) Not certain if... More

We had dinner here on Sat night - a Large party of 10 celebrating a small reunion, and Sardine did not disappoint. Great food, and wonderful service. As well, a very well-covered wine list. Gems in there as well as traditional expensive wines. Steak frites and octopus salad is very very good.

Delicious brunch for a sunny Easter day. First time at Sardine for brunch. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their entree. Menu was a bit limited and reflected trying a bit too hard to be trendy, but everything was delicious.

I had a delicious meal of tomato soup and cavatelli here. The service was very friendly (sometimes a little slow), the menu has a variety to meat, fish and few vegetarian options. The food was presented well and tasted amazing! The restaurant is in a great location - next to the lake. It's a large place with high ceilings -... More
