Excellent coffee. Wonderful scones. Lovely staff. I had the BLTP (with roasted peppers) on grilled sourdough rye. So filling, I ate only half and finished the rest for lunch. I would definitely go back next time I visit Madison

Recommended by our waitress at dinner the previous evening, we tried Lazy Jane's for brunch. Placed our order for veggie scramble and sat down with a yummy lemon scone and coffee. Food (& coffee) was delicious. Loved the funky local vibe

I had the tuna melt and my daughter had the morning bun. Both were excellent and worth stopping for. They even have a modest parking lot, although it's not built for trucks and SUVs. There are tiny shops along the street if you have time for some exploring. We definitely will save this place on our list for future visits.

You stand in line to oder and pick your order up when buzzed. Great homey menu and an impressive collections of scones.

Visited for breakfast with a friend. Food was good and plentiful. Wish we had tried some of the bakery. It looked great. This is a quaint place to visit.

As I wandered the neighborhood early one morning looking for coffee, I came upon Lazy Jane's - the only place open at 7 AM. They have friendly staff, good coffee, and home-baked pastry. A local told me they are famous for their scones. Their breakfasts are good, too.

Food was incredible. I had the grilled pastrami and would do it again 100 times. Cashier wasn't terribly friendly, but you only deal with him for a minute.

This was pretty good for the price paid. I'd show a photo, but we are our food too quickly to get one! I do prefer having waiters to refill waters, but that's my lazy side coming out... It's such a cute place and the food option varieties are great!

Anytime I'm in town I come back to Lazy Janes for the Blackberry scone. It is heavenly! I stay for breakfast if I can but if you only have a second- stop in and grab the best scone you'll ever have.

I've lived in Madison ~5 years and Lazy Jane's has consistently been one of my favorite brunch spots. First - THE SCONES. Don't miss out, get one! If you want a traditional, home cooked breakfast this is a great place to get just that. Cash only and often a long line, but it's always worth the wait!
