I've driven by the place many times and thought, why not stop in to this little hole in the wall place, might be great. So I did and it wasn't great. It was just so-so and the prices were not what I thought would be the ace for a hole in the wall. In other words, you get mediocre food,... More

This is a classic joint. Old school but great breakfast. Pancakes huge. Parking is tough but worth it :)

We came for morning breakfast with my son and our friends. It is a small diner...so you make it work if you are going to eat here. And that's what we did..We moved the tables because the guys could not fit. The menu is simple which I love...no frills but the food and service was Excellent!! Nobody went home hungry... More

Ya gotta love this place. A throwback to the old time neighborhood restaurants and diners. I have eaten breakfast here about 10 times and it has always been excellent. Friendly help, old time atmosphere and very good food. Open seven days a week. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. I have never failed to find a place to... More

My family and I have been going to the Curve ever since my daughter started school in Madison about four years ago. Every time we have gone there since, we have been waited on by the same two people. They are simply fantastic. Along with the wonderful staff, the food is amazing! My first time there I ordered two pancakes.... More

The guy that greeted us on the way in was the nicest guy, and I wish he had been our server. He had personality and made sure we were taken care if, but our server seemed like she didn't want to be there. I never saw her smile or engage customers, and she seemed like she was falling asleep while... More

Had a cheese and bacon omelot that was overloaded with cheese. Also home fries and toast. Service was a tad slow, but the old time look was fun. Seats about 15 people on stools and 8 or so tables.

Old lovely excellent American diner. As an European and never been to a diner before, but only seen diners in movies this was just great. You have to try it :)

Returned to the Curve after more than 13 years on a trip to Madison. I'm so glad this small, neighborhood diner still exists. The breakfast - Denver omelette with cheese - was excellent and the service incredibly friendly. Kathy, who has worked at the Curve for 20+ years, still recognized my friend and me and greeted us with a warm... More

The place has probably not changed since the 70s... Nor the waitress :-) From the outside, it is not attractive at all, and once you get inside, the waitress first seems in a bad moon but then finally cracks a smile after a few minutes. It feels like it is all an act. The cook looks like a biker you... More
