Breakfast is served from 7:30–10:30 A.M. weekdays, and 11 A.M.–2 P.M. on saturdays. We serve fresh locally made pastry items that include assorted doughnuts, turnovers, specialty pastries, bagels, muffins and cookies. In a hurry? We have to-go foods as well: granola bars, fresh fruit and yogurt

We proudly offer organic, fair trade coffee that is specifically roasted for us right here in madison, wisconsin, at just coffee cooperative. Each week just coffee roasts three unique blends for us and delivers the whole beans to us by bicycle
Babcock Blend
This breakfast blend is a combination of light roast (for the higher caffeine content) and a dark roast, for that bold, bright, smokier aroma
Babcock Light
A light roast, smooth and aromatic with great body, but don’t be fooled by the name. Light coffees are roasted at a lower temperature resulting in a higher caffeine content.
Babcock Decaf
The same‏ great flavor of our babcock blend but without the caffeine.
You can also buy our coffees in 12-ounce whole bean packages. We can grind them to your preference: just ask us! We also offer other hot drinks including tea, hot chocolate and flavored cappuccinos
One of the biggest names in modern Dairy (Babcock) combined with Ice Cream (which I, ice cream expert, rank as a five). This needs adding.

This is the best place for ice cream in the whole of the U.S. Only Italy has better ice cream. They also serve hot food and sandwiches. The range of ice creams if incredible.

Locally sourced dairy is used to make the most deliscious ice cream & other delectables. Grilled cheese with WI own cheddar, yum is all I can say. Perfect Madison visit includes the Union terrace & babcock ice cream

This is a must for anyone visiting the UW Madison Campus. Parking is somewhat limited. But there are parking ramps not far. Or you can take a bus. The cheese and ice cream are made on site. The cows are just a couple of blocks...More

The Babcock Hall Dairy Store has reigned as the BEST ice cream store since I was a student here. It's still the king of the hill for freshly made ice cream on the UW campus and in the state! The freshness comes as no surprise....More

I've been going there 40 years when I worked on campus. Retired now so I don't get there any more. Can get the ice cream at the Union.

The University of Wisconsin School of Agriculture teaches students how to make ice cream. They sell it here. Fifty years ago a huge cone cost twelve cents. It costs more now but it’s still great ice cream!

Cafe style seating. Fast, best place to get ice cream. They also do a lot of blind taste testings which is kind of fun. Chocolate peanut butter ice cream is my favorite

The ice cream scoops are huge, so I normally stick to one. You cannot go wrong with any of the flavors. The cheese and fresh sandwiches do not disappoint! A must for out of town visitors.
