In town for Ironman, hit this place a few times. Very good pizza by the slice, and it’s pretty cheap. Classics like pepperoni, mushroom, etc, but some fun crazy pizzas - macaroni and cheese, feta and goat cheese, BBQ chicken. Salads are great too. Thumbs...More

Good salads and pizza. Very busy but great service. Good selection of unusual pizza toppings. Warmed up while you wait.

My family and I went in after a long day and were not disappointed. We had 7 different slices, all were quite good (although I’d pass on the ratatoille version next time). Wish they served beer to go with them, but no place is perfect....More

Ate here twice during our 2 day stay in Madison. Very good pizza the variety was numerous. One slice filled me up, worst part was the line to order but well with the wait.

Came in here stone sober with a friend and ordered a slice of buffalo chicken and a slice of smoky and the bandit. For a place known for serving drunk people slices it took a substantial amount of time. The pizza was good, not great,...More

Every time I come here there is a new pizza to try. Today I have the quesadilla pizza it tasted amazing. It was like they came up with after a night of partying and couldn’t decide between Taco Bell and pizza.

Stopped in Ian's after a wedding reception a bit inebriated and happy to be alive. Fortunately, there was no line, the hordes arrived ten minutes later. I ordered a disgustingly large 20 inch pie, well done. No one should order pizza after drinking. I carried...More

Felt the pizza was just ok, with all the great reviews I expected more from the Mac and cheese pizza. They are open late and deliver so that was a plus, it was 10pm and the group was hungry. Maybe it was the type of...More

Madison staple. 10 slices and next is free. Salads are large and tasty. Garlic knots are also quite nice.

Ian's seems pretty accessible. Pick your pizza at the counter, they heat it up if needed, pay and find your table. There are high top tables and typical tables and chairs. Hope this answers your question.

You can order your own pizza with a gluten-free crust. but I don't think they have any slices. They have salads, too.

Description
Ian's Pizza specializes in pizza by the slice. Our claim to fame is mastering the recipe for Mac n' Cheese Pizza. We have around two dozen different varieties of pizza ranging from Smoked Brisket and Tots to Spinach Feta Pesto. We have a team of food "masterminds" that showcase their new recipes in our weekly special slices and seasonal slices. We only serve top quality food and continue to push the boundaries of culinary exploration. At Ian's Pizza on State we also work closely with local farmers and the farmers market to offer one of the best and unique salad stations around. Almost everything we offer is prepped fresh daily in store including several delicious salad dressings.
