Nice little mom and pop run establishment. Nothing fancy, but food is made from scratch. They have beer and margarita's. The chips were fresh and the homemade salsa is delicious. We're from Texas so we know good Mexican food. This place was hands down the best we have had! Amazing, authentic and worth a trip! The staff was super nice and took care of us! Definitely worth a stop!!!

Went because of Trip Advisor rating. Went in the door and nothing fancy. Very good home made corn and flour tortillas. Salsa was great with a kick. Had the fajitas and was impressed. If you want authentic Mexican food you go to the streets of Mexico. Handmade tortillas, roasted pork, tortas and tacos, salsa made by hand from the freshest local ingredients, warm friendly people who serve their product with love. I am from out of town and read reviews and decided to try Taqueria El Amigo. Excellent Food! All home made including salsa and chips! Great Margaritas! Wonderful family owned restaurant. All food is made fresh everyday! I highly recommend this place!

I read the reviews and the restaurant was located in a rougher part of town... As I opened the car door I had reservations.. Entering the restaurant we were the only ones there... The menu was on 8x10 with a limited variety! We ordered the Chixken Loco..servered with homemade HOT corn tortillas I loved mine and gave it a 5...... More
