My wife and I and another couple ate lunch at this Runza on a Saturday in early September. We love Runzas, and they were hot out of the over on this day. Runza does a great job with fries and onion rings, too, and they hit the spot. The price is pretty inexpensive, and the service is fast. If you... More
When we travel we always try to find something unique to the area. The Runza was perfect. The perfect way to describe it is as a warm fresh hot pocket. The filling was flavorful. I had the Runza with cheese and my wife had the mushroom and Swiss. They were both good. My kids opted for the normal and boring... More
I stopped here with my kids during a family trip. I had heard about the Runzas and tried one. It was good, similar in concept to bierocks in every way except shape. I guess I'm somewhat used to bierocks in my part of Kansas and thought the Runza sandwich was a little lacking in flavor, but it was fine and... More
The Runza Drive Ins are a Nebraska exclusive. The serve a sandwich much like a Russian Peroshki. Many of our friends come to Nebraska and take home dozens frozen and unbaked to eat at home.
Unique, Nebraska Czech food! Tasty, filling, different....We usually visit every time we are there for good reason. We love the Swiss, mushroom Runzas....their shakes are some of the best locally.
Had to have a Runza before leaving town on Sunday. Look forward to the Runza brand food and the fast drive thru service!
I grew up in Lincoln Nebraska where the original Runza Hut started. Even though they have become a chain through out Nebraska they are still as good as ever. Runzas are a hot pockets like dough filled with spicy hamburger and cabbage. If you are in Nebraska you need to try them at least once.
Wow, the locals love this stuff! We came right around lunch time and the place was packed. It's a fast food place and has your typical burger and fries, but it's known for the runza sandwich, which has been detailed well in previous reviews. We had the spicy jack runza, which is one of the promotional runzas. I liked it... More
Runzas are like bierrocks - bready and filled with cabbage, ground beef, and onion. Runza has more than just Runzas ~ hamburgers, salads, chicken tenders, onion rings, wraps, and seasonal soup, chili, and cinnamon rolls. Always good! Runza is our go-to favorite fast food joint.
