Warung Segara has the typical Indonesian standards of fried rice, nasi goreng, soto, sate, rendang, and foods from other regions of Indonesia in addition to Balinese food and simple western foods like pasta. They also have lots of fresh grilled and fried seafood. If you...don't have much money order the grilled foods or wok cooked foods: you'll get vegetables, rice, and sate or grilled fish around $2, with an alchoholic beverage for another $2. The views of Agung are better on roof top eateries, but you're right on the beach and will have good views of the sunrise and sunset if there isn't heavy clouds. Stay away if you don't like aggressive dogs panhandling for scraps. :-)More

I order mahi mahi sambal matah with rice. Fresh grilled fish, tasty sambal matah (but too spicy for me), for who like spicy food this place recomended for you. You can eat by the beach, good ambience.

We ate here 3 of the 4 nights we were in Amed. Loved it!! Simple well cooked food at an amazing price. Just ask what fresh fish they have and sit back and enjoy. Lovely

Unique place just right in the best place at the beach with a perfect view for the sunrise or an amazing and enjoyable afternoon for the sunset. I came many times because the food is unique and delicious! The best option of warung in the...whole Amed! I try almost all the dishes and I could not choose between any for my favorite. And the family living there, they are lovely. Try to get involve with them. They have always a friendship smile for you!More

I love this special place, a treat, right on the sand with a full-sized view of Agung. Now I only eat here when in Amed. Incredible range of choices, from burger to juices to vegan (with moringa plus young coconut options). Delicious and made with...love (even the coconut for sauces is hand grated on a traditional wood & pebble grater). And though the curry or grilled fish (right out of the sea) are lovely, I prefer the regional Bali dishes like Pepas Ikan or Jukut Urab (sauce has divine lemongrass undertones), especially since they make it mild and not too spicy for a wimp like me. But friends ask for spicy and it's happily done. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with friendly service. Absolutely impossible to find a better value on the beach in Bali, plus a super nice family with radiant smiles welcoming you. I was a chef for many years, and this kitchen has authentic integrity, true food. They could be charging tourist prices but they're not, and I really admire that. Thank you!More

To start positive, the location is great. Nice tables near the beach. We ordered sate ajam and king prawns with french fries. On arrival, the sate was cold and we send it back. When the plate came back only the sate was heated, and you...guessed it, the fries were cold. We only finished the sate and prawns, which were ok, and asked for the bill. The owner asked if everything was ok? No, it was not. He then came with some excuses about the wind?? And why I was the only customer complaining!?! I told him goodbye.More

I am currently sitting in the warung writing this review. The positives for this place: It sits on a beautiful beach The prices are cheap The servings are generous However the food itself is poor quality. My wife had grilled fish in Balinese spices. The...fish was overcooked cooked and dry. The spices consisted of salad onion and chilli. No spice in the fish at all. I had mie goreng. The noodles were inconsistent in temperature and had not been seperated properly after soaking and before frying. This warung could be something special but failed miserably. I can only assume people are sold on the views not the food.More

A nice place to dine peacefully in front of the sea, despite the loud 'Rasta Bar' next to it. Professional waiters, quick service and pretty reasonable prices. They make a very tasty Nasi Campur (mixed rice) and good cocktails.
