How is Sama Sama Amed rated?

We had dinner at Sama Sama and also went back for lunch to try out their burgers. Absolutely delicious and huge. Sama Sama does water bottle refills for 50 cents AUD for a big bottle which was something we thought was a great idea. The...snorkeling off here is also good. There are sunbeds but we sat up in the restaurant for lunch and icy cold beers before swimming. There is a fresh water shower and we could come and go from the water back up to our table. A great place to spend an afternoon relaxing and swimming.More

Good food and great views

We had dinner at the Sama Sama. Food was very good. Service was pretty laid back, but with cold Bintangs to drink it just made it last a bit longer.

Good food

Checked a few restaurant menus toward the Bay from our hotel and chose Sama Sama. Glad we did. Great view with soft cooling sea breeze. Meals tasty and decent proportions. Try the Dudur Gulung dessert different and lovely.

Good local food

Stopped here for lunch, it was good!! Price is good also. Majority of the menu is Balinese with a few sandwiches options. Can also refill water here, it cost 3000 IDR for small bottle and 5000 for big bottle

Beachfront dining

At one of a few similar Warungs along this stretch of beach in Jemeluk we chose to have dinner. We were welcomed warmly and served promptly with a smile. The vegetable spring rolls came first & were piping hot. We both had grilled fish, one...with ginger sauce and one cooked in banana leaf (pepe ikan), with vegetables and chips. Both dishes were delicious and nicely spiced. What I like about Warung Sama Sama and other similar Warungs along this coast is to be able to eat directly at the beach at reasonable prices!More

Tasty food for a bargain

They offer a large variety of food, from salads to desserts. Main entrees include fish or chicken prepared in different sauces. I ordered a fresh green salad, grilled fish Balinese style with fresh vegetables and fries and a drink for $6.00. The service is friendly...and the view of the beach in calming. I shall return while I’m in Amed.More

Excellent broad menu

We stayed in Amed for a week and ate in many Warungs. For Warungs in in mid-low price range, Sama Sama was equal best. It has a diverse menu ranging from Balinese meals to western (pizza, spaghetti, etc). It is not expensive and we highly...recommend it. Also a great location facing the beach, staff are very friendly.More

Great lunch spot

We stopped off to have lunch and it was busy which is an obvious sign of good food. Coffee milkshakes were awesome and so was the chicken curry and black bean squid. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely service.

Amazing

Sama Sama is right at the beach and offers amazing views to the sea and all the fishermen’s boats. If you want to snorkel, the best coral are right in front of the restaurant, accessible to snorkel from the shore. The food is amazing, super...delicious and tasty for a very affordable price! We’ve had two nasi campur, fried squid and drinks (2 large beers each) for about IDR 250,000! Highly recommend the nasi campur!More
