I walked up to Ndali for dinner one night; the view is breathtaking and the grounds are beautiful. It does have an antique feel to it, like you've stepped back in time; the owners are friendly and staff incredibly professional. All that said - this is definitely a place for the haves. They usually require reservations for meals and serve... More

Went to visit for afternoon tea with colleagues. Ndali Lodge has a timeless quality that gives the impression that it has been there forever. The style is very much 'old colonial' and the waiting staff behave more like butlers than waiters. One could spend a most agreeable few days here imagining that you have been transported back to a different... More

Great everything. View, food, rooms, service, hospitality, everything. Yes it's pricey, but if you can afford it, it's incredible.

There is not much I can add to all the wonderful reviews of other customers. The location and the ambiance are simply wonderful. Sitting right on top of the hill, overlooking two valleys with vulcanic lakes, it offers sone of the most magnificent views I ever came across; whether you are sitting on a chair next to the pool, relaxing... First stop of our trip, staying a couple of nights to take in Chimpanzee Habituation at Kibale National Park. Owner Aubrey was a fantastic guy, taking the time to chat with everyone, all the staff were incredibly friendly (even getting up at 0430 to make us breakfast ahead of of Chimp day), food was exceptionally good and the views over... 7 of us were traveling all day searching for crater lakes to explore on our way to our accommodations for the night. We had been staying in Fort Portal for a conference and were fairly tired. Realizing we were quite hungry in the late afternoon from missing lunch, we started asking about a place to eat. We were directed to... More

My wife and I spent two nights at Ndali as part of a multi-location visit to Uganda and, with the exception of slightly slow service in the dining room in the evening, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are warm and friendly (although William, the Maitre D, is very straight!) and the location is potentially stunning (it was a... More
