I think it’s the only place inside the Apgar to get food at (I don’t take into account west glacier park facilities.) food was so so as they burned the bun on my sandwich, pulled pork was a bit dry and I asked for tomatoes but got chopped pulp. Either take something else or find a different place to eat at (like La Casita 2 min drive from the park.)

I would have given Eddie's 5 stars but the hostess was so horrible when I was there for dinner that I almost walked out! She refused to let me sit to wait for my takeout order despite the fact that over half the outdoor tables were vacant. She was rude and condescending to me and I watched her act the same to others. She should never work in this or any industry that involves public contact. That being said, the food was very good and all other waitpersons with whom I interacted were pleasant and helpful.

We were happy to be seated immediately after our Red Bus Tour around 5:00 pm. Several people sitting on the porch raved to us about their food, including the fish and chips. I ordered the fish and chips but honestly, it tasted like a chicken finger. Most of our party ordered burgers which were fine. The onion rings were really bad, kind of burned with no robust onion inside. The huckleberry pie was much better than the pie at Huckleberry Patch I've heard so much about. I also enjoyed the huckleberry iced tea and huckleberry lemonade and had them mix it 1/2 and 1/2 which was so refreshing. Service was prompt and better than expected. We were surprised at such a peak time, and the only dining in that part of the park, that we were seated so quickly. Very convenient for a nice bite to eat.

First off I have never written a review but feel inclined to do so. I know with COVID things are different but when we decided to sit outside after ordering takeout, the busboy told us it was fine. Then this witchy lady, with a Capitol B, insisted we couldn't sit at a picnic table since we had already ordered takeout due to COVID. WHY?? She kept insisting that is was because our food was already wrapped up togo. What difference does that make? We decided not to push the issue and left but I did tell her she had just lost a hefty tip since their was aprox.15 of us. When we ordered fish and chips I asked how many pieces of fish and if they were good size. The lady said four. We got three small pieces. Burgers were extremely greasy, buns soggy. BEWARE, fries are an extra $2 on top of the hefty $15 burger. Ice Cream. I had the salted carmel and another person in our group had vanilla. Both tasted like it had been thawed and refrozen. $3.50 for one small cone. The extra $1.75 is not worth the extra for tasteless waffle cone. Overall way overpriced for bad food and service.

Terrible service and burgers were not great and overpriced! Our food took too long because our waiter forgot to submit it. Went up to the bar to get a drink so they were gonna tell our waiter. Finally had to go up with cash just to get a drink. The waiter never was told! I would not have minded the price of the burger if the service was better and I could get a better burger at sonic. Will never go back!

My family and I ate twice at Eddies on this visit. We ordered dinner at the window and took it back to our motel room; in the morning we ate breakfast in the restaurant. Both times we had excellent service and wonderful food. The choices were great for a little cafe, the food was tasty and filling, and our breakfast waitress was very friendly and efficient. It is my favorite restaurant in Glacier.

We really enjoyed Eddie's as part of our trip to Glacier. The restaurant has a nice deck you can eat on, but they were serving inside as well. Great Huckleberry Margarita, and beer selection. The food was very good We also shopped in the store - great T-shirts and hats, etc. And hit the ice cream stand pretty much every day.

For over 60 years, Eddie’s is the “go to” place for breakfast and other meals at Apgar Village. There is often a waiting line, but often there are stool openings at the bar. We went here numerous times for breakfast and dinner. The servings are substantial. The hardworking servers take great care of the guests. And we especially liked server Dillon and Estrella. There is also outdoor dining and a take-out window. When we return to West Glacier, we will return to Eddie’s.

Stopped in for lunch, as most other places in the area were shutdown for the season. We had bison burgers, which were tasty, but very small for the price. $17 for a burger and a few chips. Service was good. They did not separate people very much like other restaurants are doing, so COVID precautions would probably rate below average.

I loved reading the story on the side of the building of how Eddie's came to be; take time to read it! Wait staff was friendly; they had just opened after the whole COVID shutdown & did a nice job of spacing the table out. All the staff were wearing masks. Our food came quickly and was served hot. I did have the Thai wrap & thought it was tasty! There was a lot of white rice in it, but nice to have a vegetarian option in an otherwise pretty traditional cafe. Ice cream shop outside is divine!

Located near the shore of Lake MacDonald inside the national park, and steps from our motel room, we had high hopes and good moods. But my $19 buffalo burger was nearly cold and literally grey. Did they microwave the patty hours earlier? No grill marks and truly grey and dry. Even the bun was untoasted. Oh and this pricy meal was served with greasy homemade chips, also cold. My wife and daughter fared better with ok veggie burgers. They couldn’t pre-make those so at least their meals were warm. Inexplicably we returned in the morning for breakfast. The eggs were fine but the toast was cold. The topper was my wife’s oatmeal. Stone cold as if it had been sitting out while. So she sent it back for a reheat but it came back still cold! No words. I can’t recall being so thoroughly disappointed in a restaurant. Find somewhere else. Anywhere.

This small shop has a good variety of flavors, decent price considering it’s in a tourist town of a National park, and some benches for our door seating. Order at one window and pick up at the next. I had the huckleberry - it was good but more expensive than other flavors. Husband had moose tracks and son has cookie dough, which they enjoyed. Everyone ordered a single scoop, and it was plenty! It is an extra cost to get a cone instead of a dish, but a nice treat to have scoop ice cream in a cone. A nice place to stop for a treat after hiking!

We went to Eddie's twice after hiking in Glacier National Park. The first time we were seated immediately. All of the tables were filled and the restaurant seemed very chaotic. The second day, at about the same time, it took 30 minutes to get seated and only half the restaurant was full when we sat down (my wife only saw half the tables filled when she put our name on the list). Not sure what was going on. The food was good on both visits. We came back in the evenings for ice cream and to sit out by the lake looking at the beautiful scenery.

We stopped at Eddie's after a long day in the park and relaxing by the lake at Apgar. It's one of the only options but had nice views of the lake from the balcony and decent options for food/drink. We had the Bison burger and Farm to table burger, with fries. Both were good but probably not $17 and $15 plus $2 for fries worth. Huckleberry cobbler was very good though to top them off. Food was generally expensive but drinks were reasonable enough. We chalked it up to location and availability. Pretty good spot to get a casual meal if you don't mind paying for it.

We stopped here at Eddie's for an early dinner during our July visit to Glacier on the one day we visited Apgar. Arriving at just before 4:00 PM on a weekday was a good time, as we had our choice of outdoor tables in the shade. Before our meal was over, the place was filling up the tables on the deck, so they were getting pretty busy. I had the BBQ pork sandwich and my friend had fried fish, both of which were pretty good. We also split an order of onion rings which were very good. After dinner, we walked around the corner and got ice cream cones from the side window. I had Moose Tracks and my friend had the Huckleberry flavor in waffle cones. Not many choices in Apgar sadly, but if you must eat there, Eddies wouldn't be a bad place to try. Go early before the dinner crowd arrives if you can.
