Use GPS because it's hard to find otherwise! But the locals obviously don't have any trouble finding it. Diners were greeting each other and the wait staff, so you know there are plenty of repeat customers. We were surprised at how inexpensive the food was....In fact, I thought the burrito was so cheap I thought maybe it was going to be so small I should order two. Instead, I took half of it home! The chicken burrito was packed with chicken! Our waitress, Chi, was very helpful.More

Take out only. Been trying to find good New Mexican food since we moved here in August. Finally found it!! Had green chili enchiladas and they were delicious!! All the others we tried had NO flavor. Not so here!! Will DEFINITELY be back!!! Such a...relief!!More
So glad I found the reviews and searched out this place as a new resident. Several reasonably priced items. I had tacos and they aren't the kind that the shell falls apart at your first bite. My husband had a burrito and it was huge!

It is amazing how quickly you receive your food at this delicious restaurant. It is out within minutes but is still perfectly prepared. Especially wonderful if you are in a hurry at lunch time but want to sit down to a real meal.

We eat here a couple times a month and have for years. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Not sure how they can serve great tasting Mexican food so quickly and still have it NOT taste like fast food. Whatever they...do, it's always been this way and that's why we keep coming back. This little place has the best chili relleno, best prices, friendly staff. A little difficult to find but well worth the effort. The restaurant is added to the fond memories of a great vacation in Silver City. Reminds me of the good ole mom/pop eateries...across the states.More
My wife and I had learned of this place from a couple of locals. We visited for a late lunch (which became an early dinner, it was so substantial). A good way to beat the crowds. My wife, a chef who loves to cook with...New Mexican ingredients, including Hatch chiles, was stunned and transported to get three fresh, Hatch chiles rellenos, in a light batter (compared to the heavily battered types you often get, more batter than chile). I ordered a chicken enchilada plate, with a fried egg, and it was amazing. The Christmas chile sauce combo was so marvelously redolent of chile flavor. We spent the entire meal moaning in joy. Our server, Chi, was awesome, as well. The house-made chips and salsa, spicy and well-balanced, got us perfectly in the mood. Do yourself a favor and disregard the whiny reviews from "know it all" types who obviously don't know hand-made food from the frozen variety. It takes some effort to find this place, it's well worth it.More
I didn't get here, because it's only open for lunch. But a friend who lives in Silver City said it's his favorite place. A little hard to find - behind the main route and very small. Check the hours something like 12-3 only - but...certainly worth checking out if you're in town at lunchtime.More
A very popular restaurant, so you might have a bit of a wait. Open for lunch on weekdays and dinner on Fridays. You'll find the wait is well worth it.
All the menus I have found online are out-dated. This is average to low quality food. There are not any "healthy" selections on the menu. The American food is generally deep fried and from the freezer, the salad is bag salad. The "Mexican" food is...generally good, but not what I prefer.More
