This is a very special place where everything is just right with the possible exception of the price which seemed high even for that prefect evening. The tip was calculated for you! However, I have to admit thatI am not use to NYC prices, so...More

I went for my 18th birthday with my Boyfriend- very romantic, but very pricey... the food was amazing and the view is spectacular at night. Need to make a reservation in advance.

I absolutely LOVE the view here. I've been here many times and while the ambience is fantastic, the food is not worth the money. Of course, you're not here for the food!!! But, for those prices, you should have impeccable service and a fantastic meal.

Restaurant for fine dining. Excellent view on lower Manhattan. Good but not very remarkable food. Incredible oysters. Nice wine list. Friendly staff. Little bit over-crowded, a few tables less would do wonders. Expensive too.

We dined here as a celebration and the evening was lovely. The food was very good without being exceptional, the view and service however were exceptional. Yes, it is eye wateringly expensive but if you can go just once ,you should.

It was a fixed price when we were there....I think that is consistent. Menu came with no prices.

I recommend Tavern on the Green in Central Park for Brunch. I would reserve the River Cafe for Dinner or a very special occasion, as it is pricey, but worth the expense. You still get the sophistication, service and... More
