The service staff was very good but the food just edible. I would not recommend this restaurant for those diners seeking good quality peruvian cuisine!!!

Our first visit to a Peruvian restaurant and we were delightfully surprised. The stuffed potato appetizer was delicious and who can resist crispy pork belly. The entree - seafood black paella was unusual but quite good. Also recommend the local Peruvian beer. Good food and a very reasonable price.

Really enjoyed the food and plenty of options for both veg and otherwise. Only downside was that it was really hot inside so we were melting as we ate! Polite and friendly service too.

Park Slope has many good restaurants. Coco Roco cooking is very good and also an unusual cuisine. The seasonings and spices seperate the cuisine from other more common tastes. My wife had whole red snapper and I had rotisserie chicken beans and rice. We enjoyed both. The house gave us a very yummy coconut flan for dessert. Prices were reasonable,... More

We have eaten Coco Roco food on most if not all of our six or so trips into Brooklyn over the last year, the last time a week ago. Very simply, the chicken is consistently essentially the best I have ever had in a long lifetime. The different sauces for the chicken are great-and this is coming from someone who... More

Actually, one star is way above what I would really like to give. I used to come here to have the skirt steak in a delightful atmosphere. Boy, have things changed! I went here with my daughter and we decided to split the salmon with spinach mashed potatoes and a chicken dish with shredded chicken. We waited FOREVER trying not... More

While searching for parking in park slope Brooklyn around lunch time I noticed this Peruvian restaurant and thought to myself "tasty". Shortly after parked my car I entered the establishment with an enormous appetite. The server was polite and served me a glass of water with no ice. I ordered a Coke with my $9 lunch special with my Pan... More

We have visited this place several times. They have excellent variety of food. The roasted chicken is great. We often get this for takeout. The cevice (classico) is an excellent starter dish. We have also tried the paella and octopus. Both very good. I understand that they get fresh sea urchin on Mondays but I have never been there on... More

Really disappointed with the service at this restaurant. It took over 30 minutes for appetizers and 1 hour and a half for entrees. My husband had to go to the bar for drinks as the waiter had no clue as to what they had. The food was mediocre. The best thing about the restaurant? .... the music they played!

Having once enjoyed a meal at Coco Roco a couple of years ago, I wanted to find it again and was delighted to do so quite by surprise. I was glad I did. The food was as good as I had remembered and the menu has something for everyone, including my vegetarian colleague who was very happy with a tasty,... More
