The pizza here is pretty good but not my favorite in the hood. Classic slice go to Luigis a block away or Toby's for artisinal. Better vibes and prices. Wanted to love it here but broke my wallet on 1 pizza.

Yes, it's a great little secret of the area, and every bit as good as Lucale. I can go with a simple basil piza here, but there's plenty available, all at reasonable prices.
In terms of quality, an overall rating of 5* is deserved. Sauce is delicious, toppings fresh, and baking technique superb. That said, each “pie” comes plain for the stated price; $7 is charged for each topping. While the toppings are excellent, the quantity is very...More
I almost wanted to give this place 1 star just so people wouldn't find out about it and create lines a la Lucali in Carroll Gardens. Owned by the brother of the owner of Lucali, you can tell that an aptitude to make good pizza...More
Delighted to have been recommended this place on a recent visit to New York. Just pizzas but they are the BEST pizzas. Thin base, fresh flavours on top, beautiful!! Some nice choices of wine to wash it down with too. And thanks for accommodating our...More

Love this place. We go there about once a month and everyone is always happy. My kids love this place as they immediately start firing a pie up for the kids which is delivered in about 5 minutes! I like toppings like the mushroom and...More
I had been meaning to check out this restaurant for some time after reading the glowing reviews here and this place did not disappoint one bit. My girlfriend and I shared a plain calzone and a pizza pie with onions and mushrooms, which were simply...More
This pizza place offers the thin crust wood fired pizzas which are mouth watering . The prices are higher then usual, but worth it because of the exclusive atmosphere which is warm ,homely .good service but tends get crowded on weekend .
We have been going here for over 1 year now on a semi-regular basis and I can say that the quality of the pizza and calzone has not waivered. As the other reviews have already noted, this is not 'mass market' pizza. Great dough, homemade...More
