I choose my chai to be iced, my muffins to be moist and my food to be real. Every morning I walk by to a line out the door for what I can only guess are die hard fans. I at this time have not become one. The coffee is actually pumped up through a tap system giving a bar... More

As soon as you walk in, it's pleasant and subtle. The decoration and neatly written prices intrigued me to buy my favorite coffee, a vanilla latte. The salted Chocolate chip cookies must be purchased and pairs so well.

I ended up here while waiting on my son to leave an event at the Barclays Center a few blocks away. I found a very modish setup, from the array of vintage bric-a-brac to the tiny tables made of super-polished tree trunks. The gentlemen behind the bar were friendly and on point with service. As I always do in a... More

I came here for lunch. I had jasmine tea - I know it was just a teabag and water, but it was unexpectedly strong and good. I also had a Tarragon Chicken Salad Sandwich, which was filling and had a nice mix of savory and sweet (almonds and cranberries, cool!). I wish they put the prices of the food items... More

I ate here twice - they had a nice yogurt parfait for breakfast. It's expensive, but the food and service are good and you can plonk down with your laptop and coffee and hang out. Very trendy with "cold brew" coffee and Doughnut plant donuts for sale. Good people watching.

Went in for a cold brewed coffee around 11am; discovered the Nitro Cold Brew. This & an excellent egg sandwich set me up for the rest of the day; don't believe I ate again 'till the next day.

Its a hipster's paradise in there but the coffee is wonderful. The service is great. There is only one bathroom but that is to be expected.

I've been exploring Flatbush ave lately and noticed a lot of cool cafe and restaurants. It changed dramatically over the past 5 years. I walked into hungry ghost thinking it would be similar in size to blue bottle coffee but it was surprisingly large. Inside though is full of hipsters or old people who think they are too cool. The... More

What should be a neighborhood gem is simply not. After frequent visits the attitude is just no longer acceptable. Even when it is not busy. Only come here if you like service with arrogance.
