National Thai Restaurant is an inexpensive and tasty option after a day in Brooklyn. They have an amazing list of healthy dishes served with a side of rice. Service is pretty fast.

Fast. Modern. Inexpensive. Great place to grab a quick bite in a nice setting. The food taste fresh and delicious. Less than $15 for a meal. Never usually busy. CASH ONLY.

Having eaten there twice recently, I can recommend this restaurant with some caveats. First, it is small and half of the seating is close enough to the front door that you get an unpleasant draft of cold air every time the door is used on a cold day. Second, cash only can be annoying to some of us. Finally, not... More

Brooklyn has dozens of Thai restaurants with very similar menus and price points. National is a step up thanks to the cool, minimalist decor and slightly better than average food. Lunch deals are well priced. No complaints, just decent Thai food.

A block from BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) there's a great place to eat after your theatre or film. Nice decor, outdoor seating overlooking lively Fulton & Lafayette area. Pleasant surprise: good portions, prices are not expensive! We had grilled salmon and shrimp pad Thai. Other diners' food looked scrumptious, everyone around us happily finished every bite.

We had a great dinner here and recommend it highly. We had pad Thai and a curry dish called Massaman and Tom Kia Gail soup. All three dishes were super. Good service.

This is a good place for Thai in Brooklyn. The food is very good and the prices are no bad. We had Pad Thai with shrimp and it was very good.We also had it with chicken and it was good also. The place only takes cash and that might be its only downside. Overall a very good place to eat.

Enjoyed a delicious mango salad and beef panang. Mango salad was a great size, perfect for sharing. Lots of beef in the panang. Customer service is average and they only take cash.

The convenience of National to BAM was its best characteristic. While most of the food was pretty good, the beef in the pad see ew was dry and tough. Service was slow and spotty, menus slow to arrive, two tables arriving later than us being attended to first, etc. If it had been only one or the other disappointment, I... More

I really wanted to hate this place. It's pretentious, trendy and hip - three things that usually make me reach for my gun! First of all, there is no sign anywhere telling you that the place is called "National". From the outside, it's hard to even tell that it's a restaurant. Then you go in and the decor is more...
