You'll get lost wandering through this maze of a shop, but that would be a good thing. High-end deli, pastries, produce, meats and bread. Made to order sandwiches and lots of everyday groceries and 'supermarket stuff.' Flowers, too. Very friendly checkout by folks who seem to enjoy working there.

I visited twice now and they seemed to get better, which was hard to achieve after the first time. They're a little bit of a fine dining nazi as you're not allowed to take notes or pictures but I understand in today's world where taking (bad) pictures is all what people do. Not cheap but worth every single penny.

Stroll down 9th Avenue & turn right onto 37th Street. Make your way to the back of a grocery store, past the shelves full of pickles to a hidden reception desk. You have arrived, Chefs Table @ Brooklyn Fare. One of NYC's few 3 star Michelin restaurants. The restaurant delivers a near flawless experience & Chef César Ramirez is truly... More

As Michelin Star Fanatics, my husband and I never miss the opportunity to experience top notch dining. Chef's Table at Brooklyn fare was on our list for a long time, but getting reservations here is not easy. In fact, I HIGHLY recommend using Amex Platinum Concierge to do it for you, because otherwise you will undergo some truly frustrating experiences... More

The Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare has the most amazing and creative food that I've had in years. My wife and I have been there twice to in tyThe seafood dishes are exquisite and creative, the white truffle ice cream is a revelation, the wagyu beef is ethereal. Cesar is probably the most talented and perfections chef cooking today. Run... More

Heard and read about the place - so hard to get in but we managed... What we got was just amazing... Already fun to sit with a bunch of random people around a kitchen table, but then the service and kitchen team plus the chef walking around - was super cool. Food was stunning...not that Japanese but certainly heavily influenced.... More

First, I took a shot in the dark by being able to make this reservation less than two weeks from our experience (Saturday Dec 11). I had nothing to lose when I made the call and quite simply was lucky! Very lucky!!! With all the talk of how quality of ingredients matter, here is possibly the best example I've seen.... More

Brooklyn Fare is truly a most magnificent restaurant and a destination dining location for anyone serious about food and appreciates fine cooking. The food is magnificent; the service is magnificent; and the price is equally magnificent too. But because the restaurant is so magnificent in price, it has begun to attract the wrong clientele who are not there to enjoy... More

We had a great evening eating here and the food was very good. Great ingredients with minimal fussing but nothing for us gave a "wow" reaction. Don't get me wrong the dishes were very good and high quality ingredients. The main downsides for us, and other reviews have echoed this, is having to keep your jacket on in the restaurant... More

There is no question, the food at Chef’s Table is OUTSTANDING, as it should be for all the hoopla that is made around it. We decided to give it a try primarily because the Maitre D, Ben Chekroun at Le Bernardin, one of our favorite restaurants, told us that it was THE BEST TABLE in NYC. My son asked if... More
