It's average, what can I say? Some places murder the taco. Greasy, bland, Americanized. Cinco de Mayo gets a B/B-. It's decent enough. And their burritos are stuffed to the gills, but it's a crap shoot every time you order. Sometimes you'll get pockets of nothing while all the meat and cheese and beans are wedged into one corner. Inconsistent.... More

This friendly place is on our regular circuit of lunch places. The food is always good, service is excellent. It's tiny, though. In summer you may get one of the very few outdoor tables.

Its delicious and I have been going to Cinco de Mayo since high school (in my mid thirties now). I love that it is still here despite gentrification of the neighborhood and I love taking friends looking for authentic mexican food, my west coast or jackson heights friends in particular :-)

bad experience with the food. Tacos were hard, soup was not good at all. Dont recommend it. Not much to say except keep walking it you dont want to take a risk on spending money there.

A really cozy place where tasted delicius mexican food and good margarita. Se andate a Brooklyn vale la pena farci un salto, i prezzi sono ottimi e la qualità buona. Enjoy!

We were staying in Flatbush and saw this Mexican place on the way to the train each day. It seemed busy and looked inviting. We sat outside at a table for our dinner. Daughter had the nachos that she said were fine, I had a sope that was fantastic and the horchata was good. Filled our tummies and didn't empty... More

Was exploring this neighborhood and decided to try this welcoming little restaurant. It's small, not a place to linger, but very yummy! I had the breakfast burrito which was a real gut buster, and especially liked the salsa and guacamole that came with it. Service was fine, a burrito and a soda set me back $8.00. Nice find in a... The food is some of the best in the neighborhood, but they can keep you waiting! The price is right. Some of the best mole sauce I've found in Brooklyn.

Good food experience here, however be prepared to wait in line to order from an individual behind a plastic window (like a teller at a bank), who is often to busy taking phone orders to pay you much mind, equate to a DMV experience. Also make sure that you know what to order, or you may get snapped at, or... More

I went to Cinco de Mayo last sunday for breakfast with my partner and as always I had a good experience. I have been there in previous occasions but I have never written a review before. I wanted to do it this time because I believe there has been an improvement on the service and food quality. Cinco de Mayo... More
