Key lime pies here are absolutely delicious. The one with Belgian chocolate is only available from the shop - so be sure to try it. Assuming you don't have a car, you can take the B61 bus and get off at the corner of Van Brunt and Van Dyke.

Yes, this is a very true statement! I've tried "other" key lime pies, but I have to say that Steve's pies always rise to the top of the list! Even though I live on the other side of the country, I won't go anywhere else for a key lime pie! Steve's pies are made with the small key limes, not... More

Been going here for years. Best key lime pie hands down. You get what you pay for. Some things in life cost more for a reason

First, it a very tiny place that has stuff lying all over. Made me feel like it was unclean. I didn't expect that considering they are selling you something your going to eat. I guess it was the feel of the waterfront brought indoors. Anyway, The "swingle" as they call it comes in 3 kinds, 2 of which we tried,... More

We are first and foremost a commercial bakery, with our wholesale outlet for take-out only, so no plates. The "stuff laying all around" is what we call "decoration," and most people seem to enjoy the variety of items we have on display. You can rest assured our staff cleans the place on a regular basis. Also, we are inspected by... More

Steve's pies are amazing. The key lime favor really stands out. And the texture perfectly matches with the crust to make for a very pleasant experience in your mouth. When out of town friends visit we love to bring them here for both the pies and the location. Eating them over on the pier while watching the boats and waving... More

I love key lime pie, and Steve's is great. But, it is incredibly expensive. Marie Calendars is almost as good and it's 1/4 the price. Check it out once.

Thanks for your review, but as a business owner in NYC, I rarely complain about prices in NYC. Unless you've dealt with rent, insurance, regulatory strangling (it's a long list,) I don't think people have a clear idea of the cost of doing business in NYC. Please consider we are one of only two commercial bakeries in the US that... More

By far the best Key Lime Pie in NYC! Also has the best view of the Statue of Liberty. Get a small one to eat immediately and frozen one for later!

Was brought here on a tour of Red Hook, and was glad we came. The best key lime I've had. They have one called the Swingle where you get it on a stick covered in chocolate. Recommended.

Delicious - especially frozen on a hot day. Nice place to stop by and take some cool pics of Lady Liberty in the nearby pier. It's a nice hideaway - we take friends and family that come visit us for some authentic Brooklyn fun!

Description
Wholesale bakery with small retail presence, take out only with benches outside for the warmer weather. Specializing in key lime pie, period. Proudly one of only two commercial bakeries in the US juicing fresh key limes in-house. In addition to fresh daily baked key lime pies, we also offer our Swingle, a frozen chocolate-dipped key lime tart upon a stick; The Classic, The Raspberry, The Raspberry Blonde and the La Victoria.
