Great wholesome italian cooking, very tasty and wel prepared. Had the eggplant and zucchini and the fabulous ravioli with sage butter, yum yum. Worth the visit and priced correctly.

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. Loved the calamari appetizer, scallops over salad and pollo milanese also served over salad. Portions were not large, but perfectly prepared. Best cappuccino completed this dinner. Decor is very simple and relaxed. Great neighborhood restaurant, very attentive server, and no one rushed us out. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you... More

I was impressed with the varied selections available on the menu, plus the daily specials. Our food was prepared expertly. The portions were ample and tasted great. The service was friendly and accommodating. I was happy to enjoy the zucchini flowers - they tasted just like my grandmother used to prepare them. I look forward to returning to Scalino for... More

While this is no bargain hole in the wall, it does feel like a neighborhood restaurant where you can sit and relax and enjoy your meal. The pasta dishes had unique and tasty sauces and the pasta itself was good quality. Vegetables are extra and our asparagus was delicious, but pricey. It's New York!

Cute little Italian restaurant in Park Slope right off the 7th Avenue stop of the F train. Went here with a friend on bright sunny sunday evening as they had outdoor seating. Decent menu of regular Italian fare along with a list of specials which were on the more expensive side. Both of us got a variety of pasta, mine... More

This is a quaint little corner cafe restaurant with a few tables inside and tables outside to watch the world go by. I started with a sumptuous wet mozzarella caprese, main course had a grilled branzino that was done to perfection and finished with maybe the best lightest totally homemade chocolate mousse with real whipped creme. The owner is half... More

Great staff, good atmosphere and really good food. I've eaten here about plus times and have never been disappointed. The owners are very cheerful, informed and gracious. That said, two things keep Scalinos from being five star. The plates are a tab on the small side for the price and the lighting is a bit annoying (too bright). Nonetheless, probably... More

Happy to have discovered this Italian spot in Park Slope. So nice in the Summer when one can sit outdoors. And a very homey atmosphere awaits you indoors. The staff is very friendly. Great fresh pasta and tasty fish. Their wine list is another winner. The best deal is their "lunch special" during the week.

A small quaint neighborhood restaurant. Food was fresh and very tasty. Service very friendly. It was cooked very light as Italian food came be very heavy on the sauces. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals
