Excellent fish, excellent beer, excellent staff, excellent vibe. Probably the best restaurant in Fairbanks. I'll be back!

Came to the Pump House and had some elk meatloaf with some of my friends. It was delicious, and the server, Alicia was wonderful, and had a nice butt! The atmosphere was great, and the place seemed to be busy. Food was a bit pricy, but worth it!!
Went to the Pump House in late February while visiting Fairbanks for the Northern Lights. Was greeted at the door by an elderly gentleman who promptly sat us. We were quickly greeted by our server who's name was Nick. Nick gave us some great menu recommendations which were the reindeer meatballs, birch glazed grilled salmon and the alderwood smoked ribeye.... More
Went here with my husband for our anniversary. We had a wonderful evening. I ordered the smoked ribeye and it was grilled to perfection. The flavor was amazing. When I got there the server already had the flower arrangement on the table for our anniversary that was delivered to the restaurant. The service was amazing. Nick did a great job.... More
Only ok food. Not bad, but not special. Far from inexpensive. I don't understand what's the big deal about this restaurant.
We eat here a lot in the summer after floating down the Chena. Sitting out on the deck in summer is amazing. Just relaxing, enjoying the passing boats, including the Riverboat. Relaxed atmosphere, great service and good food
My dad and I stopped in to see what the hype was all about. The service was superb, food came out fast and hot, order was correct, and all had a great flavor. We ordered the clam chowder, the seafood ap, and extra king crab on the side, a couple of drinks and the reindeer meatballs. The only downside? Price.... More
Very cool place, decent parking, ease of access and great view. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is cool and has pieces of Alaska throughout. The food was very good and portions were a good size. This place wasn't on my radar but I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area.
