The title says it all: I ordered the Orinoco salad, which being a signature dish ought to be excellent, right? The greens were good but it came with a mound of white chicken meat, not tossed with the salad, but on the side, and it was dry. I barely touched it. Also: they were out of the Malbec... an Argentinean... More

Small and crowded for the dinner crowd. Wait staff were friendly but somewhat rude in that they would 'bump' you rather than ask you to move (we were with a large crowd having drinks at the bar). Food was just okay in my opinion. Drinks were good. Tables available for mostly smaller groups

It gets the full 5 stars because the food was unbelievable, the margarita was delicious, and the server was friendly and reliable. I got the Pabellon Criollo, which I learned is considered by many to be the official dish of Venezuela, and it was definitely the right choice. It's shredded beef, beans, white rice, and plantains. I'd never had beans... More

Have been wanting to go here for a while, but it was always too busy. Stopped in on a Saturday around 6pm on the way to Boston and it was not that busy. We asked for a different table but since it was just the 2 of us we were restricted to a specific area which was kind of unfortunate.... More

This is a wonderful South American restaurant with a nice variety of dishes. The restaurant doesn't take reservations so best to try your luck if you're not in a rush or come a little earlier. The bar is a nice place to sit and relax with some great cocktails

We are a family of 4 with 2 meat lovers and 2 who eat seafood only. Everything that we ordered was freshly made with quality ingredients: from soups to traditional Venezuelan Arepas and Empanadas to 2 dishes of ribs. The vibe is casual and fun and the service is very friendly. We will definitely be back.

I was on holiday in Boston, staying in Brookline and came across this Venenzuelan restaurant by chance. As someone who lives in a London suburb, I haven't come across too many restaurants from Venezuela, so we though we'd try it. The place was so dimly lit that at first I thought it was closed. I'm glad we went in because... More

Visited here for early dinner on a friday evening with family (wife, 2 small children) Service: We arrived a bit before 5:30 but the manager/owner offered to seat us while they finished setting up. He made thoughtful suggestions (my son wanted a soda and I wanted to find something a bit healthier and so he suggested passion fruit juice with... More

Went for dinner right when they opened at 5:30pm on a Friday. Not problem getting a seat, although it had filled up by the time we left at 7pm. Great food with interesting flavors, and the Venezuelan cuisine is a nice change from the many generic Mexican places in Greater Boston. Good service, too.

Orinoco is an inviting restaurant with good service and authentic Venezuelan cuisine. We always enjoy our meals here at this little neighborhood gem.
