The Starland Café is a great place for lunch! It's located on a small one way street just off Abercorn. It's only open for lunch from 11 to 3 so plan accordingly. The menu is devoted to salads and sandwiches. The CBG (chicken, bacon and guacamole) panini was excellent. Moist roasted chicken breast, excellent smoked bacon and mild guacamole on... More

Maybe it was a mistake to begin our visit to Savannah with lunch at the Starland Cafe because very little else we experienced during the rest of the day compared well to this lovely introduction. Delicious sandwiches and salads, the friendly staff and charming, quirky location sent us on our way feeling like we were going to love this town.... More

Fun place in an old house in the trendy Starland neighborhood . Great food. Great service. Parking is on-street and sometimes is a challenge.

The Kitchen Sink Salad is the best salad I think I've ever eaten! It starts with a base of super fresh crispy salad blend. Then stirred in golden raisins, crisp noodles, asparagus, grapes, cherry tomatoes and everything else but the kitchen sink. Tossed with a homade buttermilk dressing that is off the chain! I highly recommend!

Stopped for lunch, loved the food! Order in line then sit in small dining area or porch. They bring food out to you. This is where the foodies eat, so fresh and innovative. Salad special was salad greens nicely dressed, olives, sun dried tomatoes home made crouton, fresh Parmesan curls, wow, just so many items in salad. Very very good.

We loved this place.Set in a historical house, this cafe uses local ingredients to create the most delicious lunches. I had the the salad special whilst my husband had the thai tomato soup and panini. We really enjoyed both lunches. Great place, delicious food and great staff. If only we lived closer...

Had Lunch here yesterday, delicious. Nothing fancy, but very good sandwiches and very friendly waitstaff. A little off the beaten path , but well well worth finding.

Visited The Starland Cafe today for the first time. Several friends kept insisting I try it. I had the asparagus panini, which was enough for two people to share easily. It also looked like a piece of art and was so delicious. My friend had the kitchen sink salad and it was so large she couldn't finish it. (Both of... More

Passing through Savannah on our way home to Virginia and looked on Yelp for a good place for lunch. According to other Yelpers, Starland's signature dishes were right up our alley so we put it in the GPS. Easy to find. Was able to park on the street relatively close. This is a re-purposes Victorian house. You walk in the... More

Parking out front of you are lucky. A few steps to door, stand in line to order, they bring to table. I ordered salad special, fresh crisp greens lightly dressed with Greek dressing. Greek olives, sun dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, home made crutons etc. Lovely mix, very fresh and tasty and plenty to fill you up.

Description
Starland Cafe is a locals only kind of place. We are located in a restored victorian house next to savannah's first dog Park. We specialize in made from scratch food serving panini on our fresh baked ciabatta bread, salads made from organic and locally sourced produce, and we have several vegan/vegetarian items on our menu. Our clientele are an eclectic group of customers ranging from business types, students from the local Art College, and The Ladies who Lunch crowd. The one thing they all have in common is the need for outstanding food, made with love, and served with a smile!
