Hands down, bar none, the best food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Food, ambience, and staff were all great. I cannot remember our waiter's name, although he has a new baby and is from Charlottesville Va.. he was excellent and could read my husband well. I would call this restaurant my all time favorite!

We are so happy we decided to try this hidden gem in Savannah. We went with our children, ages 16, 11, and 5 and they went out of their way to accommodate our youngest with some delicious chicken and fries. We tried the sampler of cheese, meats and pickled veggies to start. It was delicious! The duck bacon was incredible.... More

I can't believe that I originally had trouble deciding whether or not to reserve this restaurant for when my husband and I were to be in Savannah. The reviews were good but so were the reviews at so many other places. After our dinner there, I would highly recommend this restaurant as the #1 in Savannah. Everything about this meal... More

The food here was quite delicious! I really enjoyed that the chef offers more adventurous selections as well as the classic staples. For example we had marrow on our meat and cheese platter. It was delicious!! Also for diner I had the squab and my sis had bacon wrapped fillet. Both delicious! Our waiter was a little corkey and they... More

This is by far my favorite place in Savannah. The service is second to none. The food is always amazing. The drinks are delicious and the desserts are beyond compare My wife and I attended on 4/10 for my birthday and the owner was hosting. The owner came to the table and spoke with my wife and I and changed... More

We were directed to Alligator Soul by friends who visited the week before. The menu was outstanding, the setting very enjoyable, the location on the lower level of the building gave the feel of an old style Jazz Bar and led to a wonderful dinner. Brenda, our server, was most accommodating. Compared to other more noisy well known Savannah dinner... More

We did not eat here but I wanted to brag on the management and staff. We worked with this restaurant for my best friend's proposal. Her fiancé wanted to do this big ordeal at dinner and in working with Maureen and Andrea and the events coordinator, they were so completely accommodating for us and went above and beyond to help... Hostess, wait staff, bartenders, drinks and food all outstanding. When was the last time you asked where the restrooms are and, rather than point to the corner, a staff person said "let me show you" and walked you there? That's what their service is like. A little pricey, but a bargain for food and service that good.

This is a must stop in Savannah !! The oysters are simply amazing. Top 2 cooked oysters I have ever had. Usually I only like raw but after reading other reviews I had to try. So glad I did and had to put in second order. Love the feel of this place also. Would have been 5 stars but steak... More

Were told to make sure we tried Old Pink House and Alligator Soul while in Savannah. Old Pink House was just OK but Alligator Soul was off the charts. Great food and a great restaurant with a lot of character.
