We love Mrs Wilkes Dining Room. The food is served family style and there is always so much to eat. The fried chicken is the best around as are the collard greens and black eyed peas. The biscuits just melt in your mouth! There are...More

This was the most down to earth place ever. There is always a long line to wait in but my sister and I waited 2 hours before they opened and was able to get right in when they opened. The food and atmosphere was the...More

We had many friends tell us that this was a must when in Savannah. Food was good and dinning concept clever, but I don’t think it is worth the money and wait time in line. The granddaughter of Mrs. Wilkes visited tables to ensure that...More

My husband and I have wanted to go here for awhile but have heard the line gets long fast. We got there around 1:15pm and were seated within less than 10 minutes. The wait was well worth it and I would return again if in...More

This place was on everybody we talked to must eat list. As big as they built it up, it was still bigger. Be prepared to wait in line but it's worth it. When we got seated with about 16 other people the table was loaded...More

Waited over two hours to get in and enjoy the experience. There were almost thirty side dishes on the table. Chicken was good and they kept the biscuits and corn bread coming out hot. Service was good.

It felt like Thanksgiving - so many delicious dishes to chose from plus sweet tea and dessert. It’s served family style - totally different than any place I’ve visited before. Plus it’s family run. Worth the wait.

[Warning: young adults from Central Florida here for just a visit] My introvert self was mildly terrified at being forced to dine right next to a stranger, but conversations between us 10 visitors came easily. We needed each other to reach dishes across the table,...More

I don’t know. It didn’t seem dependent on the day of the week, but it was worth waiting through he line.
