The Chef's Table with wine is expensive. It was an anniversary gift to me from my husband. It took us nearly three hours and was worth every moment if you happen to be into food and wine the way we are. I was able to walk into the kitchen, talk to the staff, share recipes and comment on new dishes... More

Incredible experience! White Glove service, relaxed atmosphere, not overly stuffy or pretentious at all. Ordered basic Prix Fixe from the menu with 2 glasses of wine and it was less expensive than we've paid before for to receive much less. Highly recommended over Aqueous at Nemacolin!

We chose the 11 course tasting menu. The food was fantastic but we were stuffed by the end. As good as the food was, the wine chosen for the pairing was outstanding. Would recommend the smaller tasting if we were to do it again. Great experience!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Lautrec on Friday night. We were at Nemacolin for the weekend and read about the restaurant on their website. We could not have been more delighted. We had the 7 course tasting menu and there wasn't a misstep the entire night. The service was top notch and every bite of food... More

Lautrec is impressive no doubt. Both of the atmosphere and the service could not be better. The menu is intriguing as well. Unfortunately, the night we were there, the execution simply was absent. The first course I selected was that of Japanese oysters. These are typically delicate yet flavorful. The presentation left them confusing. With a pear purée, Russian caviar,... More

This was our first visit to Nemocolin. We had such high expectations for our evening at Lautrec. We travel frequently and at a high level so knew the evening would be special. It is an absolutely beautiful dining room and the food and wine service were exquisite. Unfortunately we must have not chosen our meal selections well. My husband had... More

Perfect dining experience that exceeded our expectations. The food was excellently prepared and presented and every course was delicious. The sommelier was knowledgeable and friendly. The servers were polite and efficient. I believe the menu was a tad overpriced but the restaurant still amply deserves a five-star rating. Kudos to Chef Butterworth.

Crab claws, oysters, prime rib, sushi, is just a few of the wonderful offerings and save room for dessert to die for!

Fair prices and very good food. Service is OK, and they're generally there when you need them but not too much. The decor is a tad gauche, but they really spoil you with multiple courses. The best value you'll ever get in a five diamond restaurant.

With tax, tip, and liquor you could drop $600 to $800 here--maybe more. The least expensive 'pairing' is $110 per person. Most expensive is $360 per person and that includes wine. But, it is a 5 star facility and if your palate is different from mine, the Lautrec may be your thing. It certainly was not ours. So if you... More

Description
Lautrec truly is one of the finest dining experiences in the country. Having been awarded both the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond awards for 2014, Lautrec is only one of 28 restaurants in the world to hold both a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond award simultaneously. Lautrec's culinary style is influenced by European cuisine. Using the finest ingredients found locally and internationally, Chef Butterworth and her team carefully prepare ingredients with whimsy and comfort in mind, to create a truly unique and approachable Five-Star / Five-Diamond dining experience. The menu is a prix-fixe format which welcomes guests to create their own four-course menu. Guests looking to opt out of decision making can rely upon Chef Butterworth and our resident Sommelier's evening recommendations and dine from our seven-course Chef's Tasting menu. Caviar, champagne and a selection of artisanal cheeses are offered a la carte to heighten the experience. Options for a Vegetable or Vegan Tasting menu are also available. The word "experience" is used frequently when describing Lautrec, because the Tasting Menu format, rich atmosphere and exceptional customer service lend itself to an evening of gastronomical entertainment rather than an evening meal.
