This is always our go-to place when in Baltimore. The food is always superb, the service exceptional, and the proprietors always on top of things. It is the benchmark other restaurants shoot for

Enjoyed an amazing birthday dinner at Aldo's on Saturday evening. Food was exceptional! Service was amazing in every way. Our waiter Filip was attentive, gracious, accommodating and funny. We really enjoyed talking with him. The food, as it always is, was phenomenal! Even their César salad is presented fresh and crisp, dressed with a homemade Cesar dressing that is out... More

Enjoyed one of the best Osso Bucco dishes I've ever eaten! The service was very good, the menu tempting, the dishes presented well and the wine list extensive. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant if you are in Baltimore and like good home-made farm to table Italian food.

For the price this is one of the worst meals i've ever had. I had the lobster special and made the mistake of not asking the price, but it was $48 for something that tasted like a frozen TV dinner, eggplant parm smothered with cheese + tomato sauce, could barely find any lobster (still a bit cold + tough, like... I cannot be more pleased with this restaurant. I had reservations here for valentines weekend with my wife. When we first came in we waited for about 10 minutes or so, not too bad. Our server Nick was the best and made us feel at ease especially being our first time here. Nick helped us decide on some food items... More

The food is always outstanding at Aldo's, not cheap but so good you don't mind the price. The pasta's are cooked perfectly and the sauces are so rich and creamy. I had the Foie Gras to start and was in absolute heaven. No little one bite amuse bouche either, it was one of the nicest portions I've seen in a... More

Awesome food, great customer service. And the valet personel were great. A night to remember celebrating the new year's eve. I will definitely comeback. I loved all the 4 courses they served.

Great Italian restaurant with lots of charm. As usual, we got here a little early and had a wine at the bar. The bartender was personable and attentive. There were several locals sitting at the bar having dinner, all regulars here-always a good sign. We hung out for a while and got the scoop from the bartender and the regulars... More

We were put in a nice room with about 10 tables but we were the only table our waiter was covering in that room and he forgot about us. After we complained, he took our order but the service never improved. I wish our busboy was our waiter- he was attentive. What was worse was we got to watch the... More

Description
“One of the best Italian restaurants in America” / "The wine list at Aldo's is exemplary, easily one of the best on the east coast” / “This is clearly a labor of familial love, and it shows in every dish" -- John Mariani (of Esquire Magazine), 2012 Aldo’s is Baltimore’s most celebrated Italian restaurant. Aldo's features Chef/Owner Aldo Vitale's delicately balanced southern-influenced regional Italian cuisine, served in sumptuously appointed rooms steeped in classical Italian tradition. The media rave about Aldo's, calling it "An Italian Masterpiece" (NY Times) and have recognized Aldo's for offering Maryland's "Best Private Dining" (The Baltimore Sun) and "Baltimore's Best Private Dining Rooms" (Baltimore Magazine). Private dining rooms include a belowground, climate-controlled Wine Cellar and a Medici-inspired Library.
