Their pizzas are some of the best in Baltimore but I’ve had issues with their online orders. In one instance, the order was “not received” which would have typically been fine but it was late and most places were closed at that time. For the...most part, great spot fo pizza in the Towson area.More

This used to be my favorite pizza place. Eating there might be fine but don’t waste your time with delivery anymore. Two orders ago the pizza had the wrong toppings. Last order was missing the drinks and was late. I was told drinks would be...refunded, but I never saw it in my account. Tonight’s order was supposed to come in 55 minutes. An hour and forty five minutes after ordering, a cold pizza and warm drinks got here. I had to go ahead and feed hungry kids, and warmed up pizza is never good with crust like this so I called and was basically told it was my fault for ordering on a Friday night. If you can’t get your product out correctly, stop taking orders for the night, or at least call to tell people what is up. (I called a few times to make sure the order wasn’t lost or something.) I was told this order will be refunded, but who knows? Didn’t get an apology either. Oh, well.More

Freindly staff with good selection of pizza or make your own. The pizza is good. Street parking is available but not plenty.

I think Toss has the best pizza in my area, which is Rodgers Forge. It's close to Belvedere Square but has a great delivery area. The crust is perfect--chewy, strong enough to hold up to toppings, and leftovers aren't soggy. The red sauce is fantastic,...not too sweet like a lot of pizza places. The toppings are plentiful and fresh. My test of good toppings is usually mushrooms, and theirs are fresh and tasty. The roasted garlic is a nice addition, too. My only complaint is that sometimes they can go a little overboard with cheese, but that's just my preference. Enjoy!More

Toss has very good pizza. The owners ran the as of this review closed Bosphorous Turkish restaurant next door, so Toss also has very good hummus on the menu. Toss does not focus on thin New York style pizza, which my family generally prefers for...both taste and health reasons. But Toss pizza isn't thick Sicilian style pizza either. It's a yummy hearty pizza that is not too much substance per slice. One of the best reasons to visit Toss is the location. Toss is located right in Govans. It's not at preppy Belvedere Square- Toss is in Govans. The area of Govans is economically depressed and sort of a food dessert, so having Toss here is a positive development. The owner of Toss used to own Zella's, which is a very good pizza place that also opened in an economically depressed area (in that case Hollins Market).More

I recommend the Margherita with roasted garlic and shrimp. The other pizzas are also worth eating, but I keep going back to it. Sides are also good.

We called ahead to war the staff that a youth baseball team was arriving and they prepared a large table and started bringing out several pizzas just after we arrived. The staff were very pleasant and tolerant of about a dozen 11-12 year old boys...and some parents. Great pizza - perhaps the best vegetarian pizza I've had anywhere (spinach, artichoke, mushrooms, caramelized onions, tomatoes and chucks of Feta). We tipped the staff for their good humor. A little far from my house, but I will likely make the trip in the near future.More

Diverse Italian dishes, some of which are interesting taste wise. A variety of unusual pizzas, but be aware they are in the big, bread crust style and some slices can be almost half crust. Quality can also be very uneven. Bread on hot sandwiches comes...burned not toasted, spinach appetizers scorched on the corners not crisped. Their hummus is not bad. And the quantities are good for the price. Not my first choice for take out, but they do deliver.More

I am a regular customer and coming from far away since Toss was open. This is the most amazing gourmet pizza in town. The freshly baked dough is very quality with gourmet choice of toppings makes it the best pizza in Baltimore, literally! I highly...recommend to try it! The service is good and place itself modern clean European style with some nice art works on the wall. Great for casual celebration for any occasion. You can bring your wine for the pizza and don't forget to ask for pesto souse and olive oil for dipping of that delicious dough! Every time I think about pizza this is the place to go!More

My roommates and I usually only get Toss for special occasions. It is one of the pricier places for pizza, and being in college we need to save money where we can. Tonight we ordered Toss for my roommate, Emily's, Birthday. For the second time...in a row, they put onions and tomatoes on her Meat Feast Sandwich when we specifically asked them not to. The first time they made this mistake, we ordered on the phone. This time, we had ordered online. I called to inquire as to whether or not the sandwiches were pre made. I was told they were not, and I then explained to them why I asked: they made the same mistake twice. They then told me they were sorry, and assured me next time I would get 50% off and they would make sure there were no mistakes. I thought this was quite generous of them. HOWEVER, they then called me back and told me that no specifications for no onions was made and said I did not know how to order properly online, so she told me how. I was quite sure I had made a specification, and she said they did not see any, but would still give me 50% off next time. (Side note: I also made a note for ketchup on the side, which they also "did not get.") I checked my confirmation email (picture attached) and low and behold, I had in fact put a no onions note. Just to be clear, this woman had called me back to tell me the mistake was my fault and that I did not know how to order online. She could not accept her own mistakes and rudely talk to me like a child who couldn't order food. This attitude was unacceptable. I called again to inform this woman that there was no error on my side of the order, and she put someone else on the phone. My roommates and I are not sure we will be back even to use the 50% off.More

The plus: fresh ingredients and very good pizza and meatball sub. Negative: Service was not so good tonight. They were full (not an empty table) plus a busy delivery and carry out.) Hopefully the service will improve.

Toss recently hosted my entire family - about 50 people of all ages - for a family dinner on very short notice. When we arrived, they had the tables set and the first round of humus and salads ready to go great for the hungry...teens! The pizza was great, and the BYOB really made it reasonable. The did pizza's that were veggie, vegan and gluten free (great for the young adults from Portlandia), had lots of meat for my still-growing nephews, and plain cheese for young ones. They couldnt have been nicer. As most folks were staying at the Cross Keys Raddisson, Toss was a quick Uber trip away. If you are there early, you can walk to Belvedere Square or the Senator Theater after dinner. Enjoy!More

Toss is one of my favorite spots to order delivery pizza. I like that they have a ton of gourmet topped pies - including a bunch that don't feature meat as a main ingredient. They have salads with fresh ingredients like spinach, mixed greens, artichokes,...olives. I can't wait to try the calzones. I had high hopes of making my own pizza from scratch this night - but, I got home to realize I had no power. Clearly, with pizza on the brain; I immediately dialed up the folks at Toss. I am a huge fan because you can build your own - similarly to the make your own tacos at Papi's. There are six sauces - which works for me - because I am NOT a fan of the traditional red sauce. I like the spicy, roasted red pepper sauce and the garlic herb sauce. They also have a bazillion toppings beyond your normal ones: extra mozz, pineapple and pepperoni. Maybe it has been a while since I've been to a Dominos or Pizza Boli but can you get fresh basil, artichokes, prosciutto, and/or goat cheese?More

I love pizza, and searching for the best pizza in Baltimore is something I'd drive to the edge of the city for. I heard a place called Toss was serving great pizza in Northern Baltimore and I convinced my friend to head over there with...me. When we walked up to the counter to order, my friend instantly set her sights on the Herbed Bread Stix. The bread stix were brushed with garlic herb sauce and topped with grated parmesan cheese. The bread sticks were good, but they were essentially just pizza crust. This wouldn't have been so bad if my friend and I didn't each order pizza for our meal. That's not to say the bread stix were bad, they were just unnecessary. When it came to ordering a pizza, my friend and I each decided to create our own pies. My friend went with her favorite, a Pineapple Pizza. She selected pizza sauce topped with mozzarella cheese and pineapple. She's ordered this pizza many different places but really enjoyed it here. The crust was nice and doughy, but it wasn't too thick and overpowering the toppings. I also created my own pie, but I created something reminiscent of a BBQ Chicken Pizza. My pizza had bbq sauce, extra mozzarella cheese, chicken breast, basil, and red onion. I loved it. There was plenty of cheese and sauce which are my two favorite things on a pizza. Toss in Northern Baltimore has plenty of options so you can create the pizza of your dreams.More
