This restaurant is on the ground floor of the Hotel Monaco and the prices reflect that. The $16 Chesapeake Omelet my son had was excellent he said. My $13 scrapple and fried egg sandwich was unremarkable. I did substitute cheese grits for the potato offering...More

We had fabulous service and food while at B & O during restaurant week. The lemonade chicken with orzo special was juicy and had a wonderful glaze. The crab cake was filled with crab and the lemon pound cake with cinnamon ice cream was a...More

My 3 year old daughter and I were delayed and our baggage was lost - and what should have been a 1-day trip became a 3-day trip with a sleepless night at the airport - BUT also a stay at the beautiful Hotel Monaco and...More

We had breakfast which was good. However, for two people, breakfast was $40. If in a hurry will do, if watching budget, look down the road.

First timers so 7 small plates and every bite was fantastic with the assortment. Get there early and sit at the bar. The bartenders are premium oncologists and fun to chat with.More

We really enjoyed the friendly server. She had some good recommendations and they weren't necessarily for the most pricey item on the menu. She also made sure we were attended to, even though there were a couple larger parties (convention area) that needed her time...More

We popped into this restaurant based on reviews. It was early, we didn't want anything too heavy. Ordered some apps and a flatbread. The spinach flatbread was the best thing we ordered, everything else was forgettable and overpriced. Soo was our server, okay, not good...More

adventurerplus- Thank you for the candid feedback about your visit to B&O. I'm glad to read that you enjoyed the flatbread but I am truly sorry the rest of the meal did not meet expectations. We definitely do not wish to provide merely adequate experiences...More

Description
When you inherit a space as magical as the historic former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad headquarters, you've got to do it justice. We kept our building's most stunning architectural features intact while updating the space with contemporary design elements and nostalgic touches, like chairs and table lamps from original B&O dining cars. Our practices are distinctly 21st century, though, from selecting the best local produce at the farmer's market to serving cutting-edge craft cocktails to maintaining a steadfast commitment to sustainable business practices. If only train passengers from the early 1900s had it so good!
