Thanksgiving dinner at the Limpia Hotel has been special for years on end. This year, in the Blue Mountain Bistro, our expectations were exceeded. A wonderful room, terrific service, traditional holiday food well prepared and presented. The deserts, to include homemade Pecan Pie, Chocolate Cake and Banana Pudding, were exceptional. Highly recommend as a family experience. A truly delightful event.

We ate here a few nights before Thanksgiving. The ambiance made you relaxed from the minute you were sat at your table. We really enjoyed the crab cakes for an appetizer. They are on the smaller side but very flavorful. The beef bourguignon was delicious. My fiancé and I both enjoyed the dish. I kept saying how much it tasted... More

Charm all around! The tomato soup was fresh, chunky & hearty; the Mocha crusted pork tenderloin and grilled mountain trout were delicious. Desserts seem to be homemade. It’s an extensive menu with plenty of options for everyone. I’d definitely go back!

Stopped in for a drink before heading up to McDonald Observatory. Didn't eat so can't speak for the food but the ambience and the wine were both good. It was a little chilly to sit outside but the patio looked lovely.

We stopped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the charming atmosphere, great service and the best Margarita in Texas! We only had a soup and salad after a long day of hiking, but it was all delicious! I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant in Fort Davis.

We had an enjoyable evening here. Noticed other patrons were antsy as the service wasn't quick enough for them. So if you're not in a hurry & can relax, the servers are friendly & hard-working. The drinks are festive -- the bar was filled with people! And there's an outdoor space that's lovely as well. The pork sliders are delish!

On a recent trip through West Texas we planned on a stop at the Blue Mountain Bistro in Fort Davis. Our reservations were for five sharp as we had tickets to the McDonald Observatory for that evening and had to be in and out within an hour. The doors opened at five and we were the first table seated. Our... More

My spouse and I always look forward to visiting Fort Davis. On our first visit, we discovered this little bistro. The restaurant was full so we sat in the bar area. We had the BeefBourguignon on that chilly evening and it was delightful. We have never been disappointed at the bistro. The service can be a bit slow-but the wait... More

Nicely prepared food. The service was somewhat slow but they were breaking in a new waitress. I'll give it another chance next trip thru.
