The Mayan salad was the best thing I have eaten in a long time - beets, yams, avocado, tomato, quinoa, lettuce and bean - the flavors combined beautifully. I ordered the grilled shrimp with it.

One of the better all around meals I’ve had in a while, right down to the Brussels sprouts that came with my steak. Crispy Stealhead was crispy and delicious. The chowder is unique. There was even great live music (Brubeck, Getz etc.).

Upon arriving in Astoria, we had lunch here. I had the clam/mussel chowder and my husband had the Hungarian mushroom soup with Caesar side salads. All was wonderful. I was particularly taken with the chowder. I will be trying to recreate that recipe at home....More

My family and I came here for Christmas Eve. We were seated right by the fire and next to the Christmas tree with beautiful views of the river. The pork belly was to die for, the service was great and the ambience was wonderful topped...More

The best thing about this restaurant was the efficient, super friendly staff. Good wine list, but way overpriced. The fried oysters were good: nicely cooked and not over breaded. The salmon was terrible: previously frozen, over cooked, or both. The atmosphere was not tranquil due...More

I was brushed off like a stay dog that had wandered in, while some minor local official was fawned over. Sorry I wasn't famous enough for you. Food was crap, especially at the extreme prices. If you just needed a place to sit at the...More

It helps in the cold and wet of a Pacific NW Winter that your chosen restaurant is about 500 yards from your hotel. But in the case of the Bridgewater Bistro it also helps that this is a top flight restaurant that would not be...More

The restaurant is in a warehouse type building with nice sea inspired interior. The menu contains both seafood as well as regular bar food. Cozy setting, worth visiting.

On a lunch visit mid-week, we wandered into this spot out on the pier. The daily specials warmed up our day - two soups, one a cream of mushroom and the other a creamy curry-squash soup were excellent companions to the Reuben sandwich special. The...More
