Walked in a few minutes before happy hour began but waitress obviously didn't want to give us that menu. Claimed that she wasn't sure they even HAD a happy hour because she couldn't locate the menus. Then said, "I think we may have eliminated it at the first if the year." Um...it's the 20th and you don't know? Finally delivered... More

Ingredients are fresh picked from their own garden. The views of the Astoria-Megler Bridges are breathtaking, you are under the bridge and have a sweeping view of the Columbia River and the Washington shoreline, depending on the weather of course. Mother Nature dictates your views and that's okay. The food is lovely and flavorful and the staff will help you... More

Great place in Astoria! Some many delicious options. Amazing chowder. Service was fantastic! A little pricey but well worth it! Salmon cakes are divine! Definitely nice to check out. If you can, go during the day to eat on the river.

It was a Sunday and they serve brunch. Even though tables were open, they had several large groups who must have come in close to the same time; it was faster to eat at the bar. Service wasn't the speediest but you have the Columbia River to look at and it was a beautiful day. I'd put the prices between... More

Wonderful local seafood plus many other choices (roast pork, steak, etc). Tasty with just enough finesse - meaning this isn't just you grandmother's cooking, but it isn't fussy or silly. The pan-fried oysters were a particular favorite (and are gluten free, a nice surprise - most of the menu is either gluten free or can easily be adjusted). Lovely view... More

We visited New Years Eve and it was understandably very very busy so service was a bit slow and food may not have been up to normal standards, but I rate it highly because it was very good considering the night we went. It is very convenient to the Cannery Pier Hotel (very easy walk in all but the worst... More

Can get busy (which is a sign of quality) so either be ready to wait, or call ahead. Good food and service, combined with a nice view. We also like the atmosphere. With a vacation home in the area, we will be returning often.

We have enjoyed Bridgewater Bistro several times, but dinner was really delicious this time. We had puerco pibil and poisson st. jacques, both very tasty. I liked the menu options of ordering small plates and salads also. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful.

We were in the area a few months ago and had lunch here and the second time was just as good as the first. Started off as a sunny day to enjoy our meal from a window table and the weather progressed to rain, snow and back again to sun before we left. Enjoyed the special of the day and... More
