The Wet Dog was highly recommended by the desk clerk at the Hampton Inn. My wife had the cod fish and chips, and I had the 5-piece grilled oysters and a local brew. She said her food was excellent, and my grilled oysters were good also. We had a seat by the window and a view of the Columbia River.... More

Spending the weekend in Astoria would definitely include enjoying some of Oregon coast famous seafood and a pint or two of local breweries production. To make a choice was not so easy (some restaurants seemed too expensive, some not so much liked by customers before us, some did not offer what we were looking for), but at last we decided... More

I was traveling through Astoria during Spring Break and stopped here for lunch one day. I had the Triple Belgian beer (11%), the 1/2 turkey sandwich and a cup of the SW Pork Stew. Best lunch EVER! It was perfectly delicious. Great service, great view, could not ask for more. I topped it off with a cheesecake (it came in... More

We stopped in for lunch at this restaurant. We had a deliciously lean Reuben sandwich and a chicken noodle and turkey sandwich combo. Both were very tasty. The ambiance was very nice, and the dining space and attached bar have high ceilings and an open floor plan, keeping a lot of the rustic touches of the original space. The view... More

We decided to eat something before doing the trolley tour, I had Clam Chowder with some beer bread and it was great ! Nice place, service was good and so was the food. It's larger inside then it looks, lots of room for everyone and the prices were nice. We'll be back!

Really enjoyed our dinner here during the Fisher Poets festival. Arrived in time to get a seat up close to see and hear the readers while enjoying drinks and dinner. This is a comfortable venue for entertainment and a great big menu to please any appetite. The service was extra great, too. Would visit again on our next trip to... More

Has a great atmosphere and we had a great time having a few adult beverages for happy hour. The bartender was very nice and very efficient. This was just the kind of place I was in the mood for and it didn't disappoint. The food looks great too. We already had plans to eat elsewhere tho. They have a cute... More

Went there for dinner with my wife and 2 kids (9 & 11). Waiter was awesome, very courteous and patient with the kids. I had the Buffalo wings (generous portion and super homemade ranch dip), wife had Clam Chowder (very good!), and kids had chicken strips. The chicken strips were tasty from my standards but a little different than the... More
