We are never disappointed at this restaurant. Delicious food, beautiful decor, good service. We always have a good time. Especially if we're lucky enough to get Tara as our server.

We four old chums from Berkeley days came here and a decent meal (friends live in San Ramon, which is jokingly referred to as San Remote for its newness of million dollar track homes). Our friends come here occasionally, and I thought it to be pretty good. My wife had the chicken naan, pretty good with a nice salad. I... More
My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The restaurant was less than half full, and our waiter was certainly friendly, but he ignored us most of the evening. It took more than five minutes to get a wine list. My wife ordered a steak medium rare, but it arrived medium well. I wanted to send it back, but... More
score a table at a bar for grubs and special happy hour menu that starts from 2 to close everyday. the red sangria is nice, light, and refreshing coupled with the brussels sprouts or salmon bites. our go-to-happy-hour place in the blackhawk plaza since we live around the area.
This restaurant needs to get a grip on assuring there's enough wait staff to wait on tables. Instead, we sat, and sat, and sat with no one arriving at the table but the water guy. When a large group of people wait over 10 minutes to get noticed, it's time to leave. Even our mass departure in the middle of... More
The four of us had a great table on the patio, ordered our dinners, when my husband got his hamburger and french fries they were cold. We got the manager right away, and he was right on it. He said he put the order immediately. But still the 3 of us had finished our dinner before his dinner came out... More

We wanted a place to take our friends from Danville who had been putting us up (or up with us!) for. A week & they recommended Blackhawke Grille. It was very good, food excellent & service good too. Would definitely recommend & hopefully return sometime.
When we stopped at the Blackhawk Grille for lunch, we saw that people dining on the patio were enjoying the ambiance of the elegantly-landscaped Blackhawk Plaza (VERY nice!) and even had a live musician to entertain them. It being a rather warm afternoon, we ate our lunch at a booth inside. This was pleasant enough, and the food and service... More
