We were very impressed. The food was a real trip and so refreshing to have cuisine prepared in this fashion. We tried a wide variety of foods between all of us in the group and all of us were pleased with our own and each other's choices. It seems liked you couldn't go wrong in a place like this. We... Fresh blended ingredients well paired with each dish. The kind of flavors that your mouth can't wait for the fork to return with the next bite. My colleagues and friends return here more than once in the same week as it is always a good meal with outstanding service.

We had a group of 9 going to the Museum and we were looking at restaurants in the area. We found Formica on TripAdvisor and it was less than one block from the Museum in a nice large dining area. We arrived on time and were shown our table right away. It was in the back of the room and... More

We arrived for our early evening last minute Friday night reservation, and were given a delightful table in a window alcove. The grilled octopus we shared as an appetizer was tender and well paired with smoky bacon, potatoes and a garlic aioli. Next up was a crabmeat and Asian pear salad with a super tasty lemon-mint dressing. The crispy skin... More

We went to Farmicia for lunch. I ordered scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The eggs were not scrambled, but a grossly overcooked solid mess, which I took half a mouthful and just left. My wife had a chicken salad. The chicken was over cooked and dry as dust. Such a shame as the room is lovely and the waiting staff... More

On a Thursday night we tried to find a Friday evening restaurant reservation within walking range of the hostel in east Center City where our woman friend visiting from Italy though living in Barcelona (therefore bringing high standards) was staying, and we wanted it to be high quality and interesting cuisine. Between Google maps "restaurants nearby" and OpenTable, we found... More

Another restaurant with an odd menu. It didn't make choosing easy but I saw chicken piccata and thought that would be something recognizable. Wrong. It was a quarter chicken with bone, rather than the flattened breast. Then, it was served with a sauce with mustard, not lemon, and it so happens that I dislike mustard. Nowhere on the menu description... More

The food was interesting as it was all vegan so the flavor palette might not be for everyone. One meal too a really long time to be served but the staff took care of that. The cappelleni and veggies needed seasoning also the servings were small. The soup was good but thin and the flavor add ons were few so... More

All meals were delicious, especially the perfectly prepared duck breast. Excellent service. Location is so convenient to old city attractions.

Came here for lunch at the weekend after having done the touristy things. Very friendly and efficient staff, buzzing atmosphere and a great menu, all very reasonably priced. Took a long time to decide, as there was so much to choose from! Had the Eggs Benedict - which was excellent. Definitely worth another visit!
