This is a must see place to see in Philadelphia. You can buy anything from bakery, vegetables to fresh meats and fish. We ate a few meals there on our recent trip.

Reading Market is a cool place to have a meal and then wander through the shops! It especially works if it's raining out as it was one of the days we went. Great spots for breakfast and lunch, and some quite crowded at prime times....More

Many of the food vendors have counter service, but not all. There a a few areas with open seating for visitors to bring their take out meals to and enjoy eating while taking in all the sites of the market.
