The market seemed really cool so of course we wanted to see it in person. First of all the area is not exactly the best. As soon as you walk in the smell honestly made me want to leave but I decided to stick w/it. One word of advice do not go during peak time like we did lunch. OMG,... More

For tourists and residents alike. The Reading Terminal is a great place for lunch or shopping. You can choose from Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Dutch classics and various international Foods. Dinic's sandwiches, Fourth Street cookies, Beiler's donuts and Bassets ice cream are some of the top places to try but there are many others. Be prepared for a long lines at... More

This was such a fun place to visit. Loads of fantastic things to eat and buy. Incredibly busy/bustling. Fun atmosphere. We tried a few places and everything was tasty. I would come back to the Reading Terminal Market if I visit Philly again. There were so many neat vendors, I didn't get a chance to see them all.

I'm a pretty reasonable person, but this place is the ninth circle of hell. If you like double wide strollers and lookie Lous that are slowly browsing the slim walkways between the businesses than this is the place for you. The stalls are mostly pretty old and beat up, and I'm sure a health inspector would have a field day... More

Everywhere you turn, there is food. I think you can get just about anything you want here. We ended up having Greek food to snack on, but so much to choose from

Very interesting place, I guess you can call it one stop dining where you literally can find almost any kind of cuisine and a massive variety of food choices to select from, it was a little overwhelming when I first walked in, I had to walk around to scan most of the shops and familiarize myself, we had soups and... Not just couples, but EVERYBODY loves the Terminal Market. It is fun, interesting and gastronomically satisfying. Eat something great, shop for this and that and take some food home for later. (And don't forget to save room for the inestimable Bassett's Ice Cream)

The market is a good selection of goods. They range from cooked and uncooked foods, jewelry clothes etc. The market is highly crowded, I would say more than your average. When in a place of this level of crowds (dumping or brushing into each other) watch your pockets. The location is pretty central as well. The reason it doesn't get... More

While attending a conference at the Philadelphia Convention Center, some coworkers and I decided to try lunch at the Reading Terminal Market. It was worth the short walk. The variety of options for lunch was fantastic, and everyone found something they enjoyed for lunch. The only drawback was the limited seating compared to the size of the crowd. We opted... More

Love the Reading terminal. There are vendors with any type of food you can imagine. We had a conference at the Marriot near by so the terminal was a great place to stop in on our lunch break!
