We started off with Pulpo Saltado, a tasty combination of octopus, potatoes and a sauce that was terrific for mopping up with bread. One of us had the Ropa Vieja, beef so tender it was like threads of meat. The Arroz con Pollo Cubano was...More

In my experience I've learned that fusion restaurants don't really give you authentic flavors. So if you're looking for some authentic Latin flavoring, I wouldn't suggest Mixto. Some of the menu items are overpriced - bland chicken with rice, sausage, olives and 4 slices of...More

We found this a solid place on multiple fronts- good food and drinks, great service, and nice decor/ambiance. We had an early dinner so didn’t have any issues with noise level like other reviewers mentioned because it was still pretty empty. Not a cheap night...More

Our party of four had breakfast here twice. We did not have to wait in line or shout over the noise to hold a conversation. The food was well prepared and our server, Olga, was friendly, helpful and efficient. We recommend the avocado omelet, Creole...More

Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
