Grateful to get a table on a Saturday night at short notice despite not heaving with several large groups. Inevitably food service was slow although we had a sharp well informed waitress helping is through the menu. Nice cold beer and good wine by the glass. The house salad was great. My stuffed mushrooms were fine and the chicken Marsala... More

Saturday night dinner with husband and two young children during a weekend trip to Philadelphia. I'd booked a table here as it was close to our city center hotel and the reviews seemed OK. BIG mistake! On the plus side: it's a great city center location and the service was very good. On the negative side: there is zero ambiance.... More

Both the hospitality and ambience of this restaurant were extremely pleasant. There was plenty of space and a very low noise level on the weekday evening that we dined here. My wife, daughter and I had dinner prior to attending a show at the Academy of music which was conveniently located only a few blocks away. Our meals, including a... More

We went here on Saturday March 11th. We had a $25 restaurant.com certificate so we figured we'd give it a shot despite some of the bad reviews. There was no wait and our waitress was very nice. I ordered the moscato which was perfect. My husband ordered a gin & ginger but they didn't have any ginger ale so he... More

Found through open table app. Glad I went out and tried. Best dinner by far of my trip. Chicken parm and chocolate mouse where some of the best I have ever had. Wait staff is very friendly and outgoing. Bartenders are very good and actually know how to make great drinks (had several issues at other stops on our trip... More

We came early pre show. Reservation made through open table which registered us as a no show. Not enough staff. We had to ask for everything. Atmosphere lacking. Food not hot enough.

It was pouring rain as we left Doubletree on Broad Street we were hungry and asked the doorman a recommendation for a restaurant close by. Fratelli's was his response. We walked the few blocks and entered a charming unpretentious spot on Chestnut Street. The portions were big and red sauce delish. The lasagne was good, pasta primavera had crisp vegetables... More

Philly has a pretty extensive selection of Italian restaurants, and I'd like to try more of them, but this was a good start. The atmosphere was excellent inside. Our server, Danielle, did an excellent job. I had the gnocchi with meat sauce and it was very good. The gnocchi was cooked perfect and the sauce had very good flavor. We... More

Ten of us ate here prior to Jerry Blavat's Doo Woop show. Service was very good. Food was not quite as good as last year. I ordered off the restaurant week menu. They give you a lot of food. 4 courses and portions are a good size. The food was ok but not that flavorful.

Should've listened to the other reviews. Nothing good or bad about this place. Probably won't be back. Service and food were ok.
